On Mute Headset Microphone Muting Adapter - Mic Mute Switch for any 3.5mm Headphone Jack

I love this thing. I've only had it for a couple days, so i cant say how durable it will be, but it is a fantastic product so far. it is very small and unobtrusive, aesthetically pleasing in simple way. the button is easy to press, the switch doesn't stick, and i had no problems while using it. its odd that this is the only in line mute button adaptor online. the only other ones are the ones made specifically to attack to brand name console controllers. but those are so expensive and unnecessarily bulky. if you need an inline mute button for your gaming, and you don't have one on your headset already, i highly recommend this product. you wont regret buying it.

I connnected this to my work computer and it didn’t do a thing. I took calls while it was “muted”. Additionally there was some static on my line that went away as soon as this was removed. Not worth it for what I need.

I've wanted this for ever and finally found it. Works awesome!! Just make sure its unmuted when you plug it in or sometimes it won't work properly on some devices. But you can just unplug it, unmute it, and plug it back in and it will work. This is why I gave it 4 stars, but it really should be like a 4.8, :)

As title states, this product does NOT work as stated by the manufacturer. The mic mute switch nor the mic Push to talk button does NOT work.

IMPORTANT: the mute switch must be off (green) when you first plug in to your phone/device. Otherwise it will not work!Otherwise, it's perfect in its simplicity. No more accidentally NOT being on mute, or fumbling to turn mute off when it's your turn to speak on a conference call.It works perfectly with the variety of headphones I have tested.

This works well for calls while walking around a noisy place, providing a spring loaded unmute button that I can use for the exact moments when I am talking. This is far superior to trying to toggle the mute button on the screen of my Samsung S7. I wish the cable was about a foot long so that my phone could stay in my pocket, and the switch could be in my hand outside my pocket. The switch part looks durable, but I am not sure about the cable - so far it is fine.

This was the perfect solution for me for my PS4 headset. I love having the ability to just press the button when I want to talk... then muted on release.I had to replace this unit after a few months because it started causing static in the line.... then failed completely. The replacement died after 3 months.It was significantly better than the other brands... but still did not last even 6 months.

I used this with my mic'd headset, attached to phone or computer. In either case, it failed to actually mute my voice. Get that. I thought it was muting my mic and it wasn't. I knew this after my boss answered something I said while on mute. :{}
