The alarm functions exactly as described. It's loud and sensitive, with four modes that you can cycle through by pressing the power button. I left the solar panel in the sun for a day, and after installation, it works great even on cloudy days. However, there is no battery indicator.In the mode with the alarm, there are 13 different sounds. The first detection triggers 'Dog barks and a gunshot,' the second triggers 'Wolf howling,' and the last triggers a 'Boat siren.' Each trigger plays for 15 seconds. The sequence of sounds makes it difficult for animals to get used to the alarm, and it has kept my garden clean so far.

Our ranch is on the creek and we have a real issue with raccoons. They come and steal all my dogs, food, and God forbid you leave your phone outside at night or your set of keys because they most definitely will disappear.
