Very easy to install and program
I bought three of these to replace three non-programmable thermostats after getting a $700 electric bill. Now I can program around on-peak, demand charges and super off-peak.I bought a Honeywell Wifi programmable thermostat,but returned it because it was more difficult to configure and program.I don't really need wifi and that made it complicated.The other thing I like about this one, besides being less than half the price, is that it can be programmed without being attached to the base because it has batteries.Great product and great price.

Screen is not bright and dim while pressing button
With brand-new AAA batteries, screen is not bright as pictured on Amazon. The screen is dim while pressing the button. Disappointed

Works for my electric heat forced air furnace
Having a programable thermostat is essential for saving on power and personal comfort. This thermostat provides that. It is easy to install and program. I ordered this to use at my girlfriends house so we could use another one of my favorite features. The fan switch, which allows you to run the fan when the furnace isn't call for heat. Which is useful for both extremes in temperature by helping maintain a more even temperature feel throughout the house. Good value and functionality.

A good, low cost thermostat.
I was using a loaner thermostat, so I got this thermostat as a replacement, and had it professionally installed. The installer said this looks like another brand he has experience with, and it should be a decent thermostat. There are no jumpers or switches on the PCB, and everything is programmed through software. The installer went over the settings with me briefly, and this thermostat has some interesting and nice features. One thing the installer set longer, was the minimum compressor run time. Since the compressor uses more electricity on start-up, it should help save on the electric bill, to allow it to run longer when it does start up. I haven't explored the programmability of it yet, but that is a basic feature. There are other thermostats with a larger display, but at a larger price too. If you want a minimum thermostat (with basic features), and don't mind the slightly smaller display, then this is the one you want.

Works
Had an old thermostat and wanted to upgrade to a better programmable one. This one was not to hard to install if you follow the instructions closely. After it was installed it works as it should and have had no issues with it. Glad I got it for sure
