I recently purchased the WAIXINGREN 9012 HIR2 Headlight Bulb as a replacement for my halogen bulbs, and I'm generally pleased with the results. The bulbs are significantly brighter than the stock halogen bulbs, providing improved visibility during nighttime driving.The installation was straightforward, and the bulbs fit perfectly into my headlight housings. The waterproof IP68 rating gives me confidence that they will withstand the elements and last for a long time.The only downside is that the bulbs are a bit warmer than the halogen bulbs, which can cause some glare in certain conditions. However, this is a common issue with LED headlights.Overall, I recommend the WAIXINGREN 9012 HIR2 Headlight Bulb as a good value for money. It's a significant upgrade over halogen bulbs, and it can improve your nighttime visibility. Just be aware that there might be some glare, especially in foggy or rainy conditions.Important note: Remember to switch back to your original bulbs when it's time for your MOT test, as many testing stations have strict regulations regarding headlight modifications.

These headlight bulbs are incredibly bright! They make a noticeable difference when driving at night, especially on unlit roads. They were easy to install and haven't caused any issues with my car's electrics. Very happy with the improved visibility.

Such a shame that these can't be installed properly on my Hyundai Coupe SIII as the headlight unit isn't big enough to accommodate the full length of the bulbs and consequently I can't refit the headlight screw caps. That said they do work when I connected them and my car doesn't have any system built in that would warn of incompatibility or any issues so not a problem with cars that don't warn you of bulb issues.If they where the exact same size then I would be able to use them but just because they're H7 type doesn't mean they'll fit and best to see if the extra length can be accommodated inside the unit.The price isn't bad to be fair at just under £20 at time of review but currently has a 15% off voucher so making them a bit cheaper. They are a lot brighter than standard halogen bulbs and come nicely boxed with some cotton gloves to use when handling all the bulbs. I know from experience that when you handle halogen bulbs NOT to bare hand them due to the muck you can get on them which can cause them to prematurely fail. You may need to replace your halogen bulbs you see if these don't fit like I had too and thankfully the gloves helped to handle the bulbs without getting them dirty.I'll stick these in the car cupboard and may need them later when I get a new car but at the moment they cant be used.Although the ad states that these are the same as a standard H7 bulb thay actually aren't the same size in length. Connections are the same yes albeit these are offset by way of a cabled connector but the length just won't allow me to screw the caps back on and this would only lead to internal issues inside the headlight unit such as condensation, water getting in etc.Never mind I'll keep a look out for the same length next time.Check your headlights first for extra space before ordering to accommodate the extra length.
