(Note: Excuse the rocking in the video. The area on the floor where I placed the trash can is not even. The trash can IS very stable and even. Just wanted to note this in case people think the rocking is due to the trash can not being flat on the bottom. )I needed a slim trash can that could fit in the little space shown in my pictures. I also wanted a 13 gallon capacity trash can because I already had the bags for it. Many trash cans were ride, really expensive, or plastic. This one fit what i was looking for. It looks kind of small, but it does fit a lot of trash and is true to being 13 gallons.It looks nice and the pedal and opening mechanisms are very smooth and quiet.I like that it has one of those black liners to hold the trash bag. I know how its supposed to be used, but I use it to hold down an extra bag. I double bag my trash cans usualy in case my first bag breaks or leaks. The 2nd bag can catch it - i havent ever had to clean a trash can because of this.I recommend!

A solid, classy looking trash can- very large opening. Easy bag placement. Fits in a smaller space but isn't super small looking. Very pleased. It is a bit more costly, but shows in the design.

It moves when you open it and it's very noisy. I didn't like it at all. In less than a month got rust, don't waste your money with this purchase

This is more of an annoyance, rather than a problem with the item. The garbage can slides backwards as you open and close it, and you have to keep pulling it away from the wall.The garbage can itself is of good quality, the lid closure is quiet and smooth for both opening and closing, and the added bracket to keep the bags in place really secures the bag to the can well. I’ve had it about a month now and it’s still working as well as day 1, in spite of 3 teenagers 😀.The only other thing I’m slightly disappointed with, which is totally my own fault, because I didn’t pay close enough attention to the picture. The top is not in line or recessed into the can, but rather overhangs. It does not hinder or affect the functioning of the top in any way. It just makes the garbage can look more chunky (?, I can’t really come up with a better word to describe it right now), rather than having a sleek and smooth appearance. It’s purely a personal design preference.It’s a great value for the price and I would definitely recommend it to others!

Lid opens smoothly when stepping on pedal. You can set the lid to stay open easily, and close back without fighting the mechanism.
