Compatible with 3rd Party Head Straps
This is not my first Quest 3 charging dock. I have had others, but they were either cheap and didn't work right or they did not have 3rd party head strap support.I decided to try this one out, and I think it is a keeper!Controllers:The set came with rechargeable controller batteries, as well as new controller battery covers to work with the rechargeable battery. The batteries and controller covers install just as easy as the OEM cover.Main base:The set came with a USB C cable. One end goes on the back of the main base, and the other to your power supply. There is a button on the base that allows you to switch LED lights. The button does not turn on or off the charging. With the button on, the headset base and controller holders light up orange when charging, and green when fully charged. If you are not into flashy colors, you can turn the button off. The button itself has an LED light "ring" that shows if charging or charged (with all the other flashy lights off). The controllers drop right on the holders and start charging without any adjustment. Works great and charges the batteries without issue.Because I use a large 3rd party head strap, a small amount of adjustment is required but not much. The headset charges via the pins on the bottom of the Quest, all of my other charge docks required a USB C plugin. I appreciate that I can fully charge the Quest without touching any cables. The only problem that I had - which really isn't even a problem, but confusing:The instructions tell you not to plug 3rd party head strap batteries into the headset's usb C port while charging on the dock. It says to instead use the "out" port on the dock for charging the head strap battery. As you can see in my pictures, there is printed text that says "out" on the dock, but there is no USB-C port for "out". It would have been nice to plug my head strap battery into the Out port if it was available, but not a deal breaker.Best Meta Quest charging dock I have tried so far, recommend!

Not The Greatest Chargestand
I ordered this charging station for my Meta Quest 3 in an attempt to avoid having to manually plug in the cable and change the batteries for the hand sets/controllers.It looks like a great charging dock that one is able to simply set the VR headset on top of and walk away with the feeling that when they return, it will be fully charged with no issues.I've been using my headset daily in order to fully use this product as intended, and had a lot of fun in VR.It charges fairly quickly, given my headset was about halfway depleted as I called it a day.My only complaint about this particular product is the "nickel-metal hydride" batteries that it comes with. There is a chance that one can get incredibly hot sitting on the charger whilst the other controller is a normal temperature. This may be due to a defective battery, in which case I suggest you test this charging dock as soon as you get it to ensure you have not received a bad battery; or perhaps if the battery gets too low, it attempts to charge the controller quickly which produces more heat.Having taken this into account, I have decided to revert to plugging in the headset with one cable, rather than chance something go awry when I am not in the room.

very finicky trying to get the headset to sit just right to charge.
There has got to be a better way. and if you are using an upgraded head strap or mask for get about it.most of these are the same way some work a bit better than others but they all require you having to fiddle with it to get it to charge.and the batteries are NIMH so they are only 1.2v so the quest controllers don't like them much.

Does not charge MetaQuest 3
You have to balance the headset PERFECTLY in order to charge it. The controllers charge just fine though. Tried several different positions and it will charge for a few seconds then turn off until it is repositioned. Do not recommend.
