These did not work in my parakeet cage. I’m not sure what kind of cage it would work in since mine is pretty standard and I have other JW Pet Company items I love. Sending them back and getting the standard covered perch cup that usually comes with parakeet cages. They’re hard to find but do the job.

Well, I thought this would be great for my canary......the seed falls out way to fast. Within 1 day all the seed is on the bottom of the cage. It is sturdy and well built....didn't work out for us unfortunately.

These work great and they can’t get inside them and poop on their seed.

Product made it simple to feed my birds amazing

This is a good product -- just not for fine finch and parakeet seed. The small seeds fall through the openings between the inside and outside parts of the feeder, It should be fine for larger parrot food.

They are very difficult to fit on the cage and each time I take them off to clean them, seed goes everywhere (AND I break a nail). They are, however, easy to fill.

It dispences seed for my greedy birdies, it's also easy to fill as it sits outside the cage.

Even with a full tube of seeds they won't really feed into the hole making the entire back part kinda superfluous. I bought this to have a way to refill food from the outside of the cage for travel or if the birds are being watched by a friend so this is a major pain. The tubes at the back are also incredibly easy and likely to be tossed out by a budgie, so I can't have them inserted or the birds will get all the food all over the floor. Overall not well designed.

I love that you can refill the seed silo from the top without the mess of having to put the silo upside down and try to attach the seed compartment on small slide clips. Once it is assembled, which is easy to do, you just keep refilling it from the top of the silo. The silo itself is fairly small so it will require filling often, but the fact you can easily refill it makes up for the small size. I would recommend the taller option if someone was buying one.
