I typically purchase test strips from the big box stores but thought I'd go with the convenience of having them delivered to my door. The problem with these strips is that the color range is very muted. After dipping the strip and comparing it to the legend on the bottle it can be difficult to tell what range your water is.The strips I have purchased in the past from the big box stores had color ranges that were much brighter and vivid, with these strips its more like comparing very slightly pinkish to slightly pinkish in the case of chlorine for example. Its hard to tell.While I will continue to use these I wont purchase again, its just too difficult to see gradations in concentration.

Great to test for hard water. I used these to see how hard my water was for when I wash my cloth diapers. Without the correct water softeners while washed cloth diapers is critical to know otherwise you can get stink and hard water build up. I bought a big pack as we have a water softening system that inst too reliable. Once a week I take a strip and test the water coming into the washer to see how soft or hard it is and then add any water softeners as needed (I use rain drops water softener available here on amazon). I used to use borax but its very hard on babies butts so its best to stick with the best when you need it and that's either Calgon or Rain drops both you can purchase here at amazon.

Product arrived in a timely fashion, and there are sealed packages around each 10 strips -- which is a really great idea (esp. in a humid area like my home). The colors don't really match up as well as I've seen on other test kits but works good enough.

I love these test strips. I've been using them for awhile now. Its so simple. Hold in the deep end for 15 seconds and then hold it up to the bottle to match the colors. It's really nice for just a quick test in between taking a water sample in to the pool store to get tested. The only downside, is the Total Chlorine strip on the bottle has faded. I wouldn't recommend holding the wet test strip ON the bottle. I believe that's why it faded. I would recommend this product to other pool owners.

Currently using the AquaChec 7 porduct. The FibroPRO strips offer two less chemical tests and the shade of the results is difficult to read. Okay in a pinch but not the best.

These come in 5 sealed packages, which I suppose make for a longer shelf life. It seems an uneeded extra step for me. My normal strips seem to work just fine in a bulk pack of 50. These do work, they are just a little awkward.

It's our first pool so I figured I needed to test the water at least once a week. These strips give a seemingly very accurate reading within about 15 seconds. Order these with a floating chlorine tablet dispenser and you shouldn't have any trouble at all out of your pool water. It's working for ours!
