This worked as claimed. It fit the mounting holes for my tag and my rear camera perfectly. I installed it with a couple of washers between the bracket and the bumper mounting holes so that the camera wiring would fit behind it without being pinched. This allowed the wire to pass thru an existing hole in the bumper without being pinched.

I purchased a camera, but then had trouble trying to install it in accordance with the instructions. That's where this handy accessory came in to remedy my problem. Installing to the rear plate was much simpler than expected, and I'm loving that the camera position can be adjusted without having to pull out the tool box.Considering the price, this mount seems surprisingly solid - as in it's metal (and not plastic, yay!). As Murphy dictates, the car was traded almost immediately after the mount was put on, so I only got to see it "go live" a few times, but it was as good as (if not better than) expected. Happy to recommend to anyone having difficulty mounting their rear-view camera!

This bracket kit is just what I needed to mount a backup camera on my 1991 GMC pickup. It's a sturdy bracket that attaches behind the license plate, and has a solid mount for my camera. It fits perfectly with just a screwdriver, and was easy to install. It has extra screws, which was handy because they are tiny and I lost one. Good value for the money.

You need to check the measurements to make sure this will fit you car and existing license plate screws. Beyond checking that they will fit on you car and with your camera, this kit has all you need to mount a non-factory camera. I am using with a portable CarPlay screen that came with a backup camera. Camera had the basic two screws at the back and a small metal frame for screwing into the car. This will provide both a more secure mount and better options to put the camera where I want it without screwing into plastic or metal.

My existing back up cam clips onto the top of the license plate and is held on by one of the plate mounting screws. Unfortunately, when I close the rear hatch of the vehicle the camera tends to rotate a bit, making the rear view seem like the earth has tilted askew. I was excited to see this simple solution. I went out to the car ready to solve my problem when I realized the hatch handle would be blocked if I moved the camera to the center like this mounting requires, so I can't use it. It's a shame because the device is really well built. Solid steel bracket - not some thin stamped out tin. It contains all of the parts necessary to mount, not only the bracket and camera, but also your license plate. If mine were not already secured on all four corners I would definitely use the plate mounting hardware. Now I am looking for other solutions to keep the earth level. I would use this if I could. If you decide to, make sure you measure your camera dimensions before buying.

This is a sImple solution to hold my reverse camera on my older vehicle. It uses the license plate screw holes that every car has to hold the camera in place so no need to drill new holes into the car. Works well and easy to install.

Nice little kit and it worked fine for my back-up camera install.I appreciated the little screwdriver that was included for the tiny set screws.The unit is powder coated so I think it will resist rust well. It has everything you need.I think it's a good price and a good value.I recommend this product.
