Nice notebook. The pages have wide ruled lines perfect for note taking. I like the quantity of pages. The pretty color and the being bonded, makes the book look nice and keeps the pages nice and secure. A nice sturdy notebook overall.

This is a really nice notebook. There are two different colored place holder ribbons attached to the notebook, as well as a pen holder and a stretchy piece to keep the notebook closed. The pages lay flat even from the first page which is great. The paper is a decent thickness, and does have minimal bleeding with the 1.0 gel pens I use. The paper itself is pretty smooth so if you’re looking for some friction with your writing this won’t have much of that. I purchased sage green and it is a little deeper and darker green in person than in the listing photo but I prefer it. The cover is a soft faux leather probably plastic material but it feels nice in the hand. There is a pocket in the back of the notebook and it comes with some colored tab stickers. The line spacing is quite enerous, almost 9mm. So a decent wide rule.

This is a good basic notebook. The cover is stiff but also soft. Says it is leather, but is really synthetic. Pages are lined, have a space labeled for the date, and are numbered. The first couple pages are setup to be a table of contents. There are only 188 pages if you don't count the title pages. The size, A5, is not a standard US size, but not really an issue unless you are very particular about how it would look on a bookshelf with other notebooks. Pages are of decent thickness, ballpoint pens will be fine, but ink heavy pens will bleed through, which is very typical. The pages will not lay flat on their own like a spiral bound notebook would, but you can hold it down and it be mostly flat while writing without a lot of effort.There is a string bookmark, and a pen holding loop on the side. The back cover has a pocket built in, and it comes with some stick on tabs that you can attach to pages and write on for quick reference.About all you could ask for in an everyday notebook and the price is right.

The description says it's wide rule. However, it is college rule paper, with much thinner lines.

I really like this journal because it's high quality and has a nice feel to it. Hard cover, lined pages with a place for the date and to create a table of contents. This is the perfect format for a daily journal or a general purpose notebook. It has an elastic pen holder and a strap to help keep it closed. Opens wide and lays flat which makes it easy to take notes. The paper is thick and the size of the notebook is just right for carrying in a briefcase or backpack. Nice color and an attractive product. Because it's hard cover and heavy paper, it's going to last a long time. The tabs that come with the notebook add a lot of flexibility for organizing your notes. A very nice, durable, sensible and good looking notebook/journal!

I go through a lot of notebooks, and so far this one is pretty good. The cover material has a nice feel to it that's convincingly leather even though it's imitation. It's moderately water resistant too, which isn't mentioned in the marketing. The binding is sturdy but still lays flat easily enough. In the back there's a pocket with stickers that can be used as tabs or to help organize the table of contents at the front of the journal. The pages themselves have generously spaced lines, and the inclusion of page numbers is always a plus. Altogether a good journal for students, professionals, or people just looking to write.

This journal arrived in a padded mailer but that did not seem to provide a lot of protection because it came very bent. The picture shows how it arrived. I now have it under a heavy box of books hoping to flatten it back out. As far as the journal goes--the paper has a nice feel to it--not thin--feels durable. The color (Gray Blue) is as pictured in advertising. The numbered pages and sticky tabs help with staying organized and being able to find specific things you have written. The pocket on the back cover is great for little things/papers you are keeping. I like having an elastic band to hold it together--seems more secure when carried like that..
