3-Drawer Organizer Cube, Maple

Item is vinyl covered press-board NOT wood. Packaged using Styrofoam.It is sturdy and well made, and looks nice, but is definitely over-priced. All screw holes lined up properly, when the piece is positioned properly.Inside drawer size is stated as 4.25 inches high...NOT! Drawer sides are 3.00 inches high and back is 3.75 inches high. Large drawer facing piece makes the drawers appear deeper than they are.ASSEMBLY: for the most part clear picture-based instructions. A few notes:CAUTION: screws will damage the material if over-tightened. Even with a drill/driver set on "1" it was too much; best to insert part way by driver and finish inserting screw by hand.1) Hardware size pictures are NOT true to size; one way to better know which screw goes where is to sort them and use the piece count of each screw as a guide to which screw type corresponds to which label in the instructions.2) The top and bottom pieces (labeled A) have extra holes for stacking. If you are trying to line up the top and bottom to the sides (B and C) you could get confused by looking at the top holes (I did). They align from underneath.3) The drawers will slide OVER the top of the rails, not into the rails. The pictures of their placement are correct though having one end of the rail open and once rounded is confusing. Rounded end of rail goes to front of cabinet.4) When assembled the cabinet looks the same right side up or upside-down BUT is not. If you have the unit upside-down and insert the drawers, the drawers will not fit properly into the cabinet. There will be large gaps and the "top" drawer will hit the cabinet instead of sliding into it.5) The screw cover plastic pieces do NOT fit snugly. If you turn the unit over because the drawers do not seem to fit (see #4), they will fall out and are hard to find. Once you are satisfied that all is assembled properly, glue them in place.

It's a good system, especially as a home office/junk drawer system. Sturdy construction and nice finish. My only complaint is the drawer system is simply plastic slides that drawer's sit from slots in the sides. So not a standard drawer roller system. It works for what we needed as it is an upgrade from the plastic drawers that we were using.
