Guess what, this chair squishes down to about a sixth of its size. Get it out and it takes shape within a few minutes. No smell at all. It's surprisingly heavy for a bean bag chair. It's not so heavy you need to be a bodybuilder to lift it. It's just not so lightweight like most bean bag chairs I'm used to. That gives it stability though. The texture is soft and the color is nice.In the product description picture, it shows a lady sitting straight up like it's a normal chair. Nope. It might take longer using it, but I had to add a pillow at the back to be able to sit up straight where it wasn't hurting my neck to hold my head up. Again, I really think it's going to take some time for it to settle down into the right shape. Every bean bag chair starts that way. I'm an average size gal and I fit it just fine. My kid fits it just fine. Only one of our cats is trying to decide whether or not he likes it, but he definitely seems to find it cozy so far. Something to keep in mind if you have pets. You'll be fighting them to use it. Once I've sat in it a few more weeks and it starts taking a more relaxed shape, I'll try to report back about how well you can actually sit upright. For now, right out of the box, be prepared to have to lean way back and use your neck muscles to pick up your head. And also, not do too much productive because you can't sit up.Edit: After a few days, it's starting to settle nicely and I'm able to sit up more straight like you'd expect. Very nice and comfy now that it's fitting better!

This is such a soft, great little chair. Perfect for curling up on. It comes air sealed in the box and pops out to its form right away. The only downside is it doesn't have a removable cover to wash.

The size is really big and it’s really comfortable. The filling is makes the bean bag a little heavy. The quality is good, soft and sturdy. It took a couple days for the bean bag to form its shape. I like that the shape is designed to have a back rest. Overall I am happy with this product. The color goes well with my son’s gaming room decor. They really like it and sit in it comfortably. I will be purchasing another one!!

This bean bag is super comfortable with foam filling and a soft fabric cover. The chair was vacuum sealed upon delivery and took a few hours to fully expand and fluff up. It’s a bit lumpy looking and feeling the first few times but after rolling it around a little and sitting on it, it softens and smooths out. The size is perfect for both kids and adults. It’s not light but it’s not too heavy for moving between rooms - there isn’t a handle for picking it up but it rolls quite nicely while on its side. I do wish the back was a bit taller as I can’t lean back fully without facing the ceiling, but it’s great for lounging. Overall, the quality is nice.

I'm not a huge guy, I'm 5'10" and 205 lbs., but I wish this was *slightly* wider to give my arms a little more room when I'm sitting on it. Other than that, super comfortable, well-priced, and looks good. My biggest complaint is that my cat loves it and his hair sticks to it like crazy due to the velvet feel. Really like this chair!J.Ja

This bean bag chair came vacuum sealed. It "puffed up" within 30 mins to normal size and was ready to use. It's a nice soft microfiber material and much more comfortable than I was expecting. Our kids are loving it and I even use it from time to time. It's quite supportive and easy to get up from.

This chair came vacuum sealed in a plastic bag. It was so so small, but really heavy. Once you cut it out of the plastic, it starts to puff up. Probably takes at least 24 hours to get to the size it's going to be. It also was very wrinkly at first, which i was concerned with, but once time had passed all the wrinkles came out. It is a huge chair and is extremely comfortable to sit in.

Plush, comfortable and about the right size.Bean bag chairs have been around forever and iterations include some very cheap, small and poorly built ones all the way to surprisingly expensive versions sold by specialty stores in the mall.This is in the upper middle of the range I am familiar with. It is not enormous (meaning it can fit comfortably in most places that you might put a chair) and has a comfortable plush finish. It is nicely made of good fabric and stitched well so that it is unlikely to fall apart with normal use. It's a bit hard to keep really clean but it can be done.There is sufficient filling (I don't think it is actually beans) to make it comfortable and give most people the ability to mold it to their bodies. Very large folks (you know who you are!) may find the size wanting but still will be able to use this chair but may not be able to splay out the way these chairs can allow.
