We actually have 3 of these for our Cannon cameras it works great does exactly what we wanted. Word of warning if you think you will save money buying cheap (From experience) as there is many ND filters out there cheaper than this, you might end up paying for it later as we found with the cheap ND on longer lenses you wont be able to get a perfect focus we tested this on a 5D iii , 70D and a sony A7sii. Bottom line is why spend £2000 on a lens and ruining it with a cheap ND.

Left footage with a soft foggy look
Leaves footage with a soft foggy look, especially in highlights. The flaring makes it impossible to achieve a sharp finished product and limits what you can do in the edit. Feel that building a collection of non variable would produce best image. This is mostly a problem when the filter is max closed. Image quality is better in the lower end of this filters reach but still not good.
