Very interesting Princess facts

Best Disney princess book we've read. I got it from the library initially and then bought a copy. Many of the Disney princess books have sappy, boring, or empty stories about some silly thing that may or may not make much sense for the character. This one does a great job telling well-edited versions of the actual movies, with some interesting highlights/notes about the characters (and not just the main characters, either) in little side notes on every page. In some cases, we haven't watched the movie, and this makes it easy to talk about the plot and get to know the characters, which helped me gauge my daughter's readiness for those she hasn't seen. And best of all, this book has been terrifically motivating for my emerging reader to read, and she's quickly conquering the excellent vocabulary in this book. She reads the story in the middle of the pages and I read the character notes on the edges. I'd gladly give away the rest of her Disney princess books, but this one we both enjoy, and we've read (and re-read) some of it every night for a couple months so far! I hope they update it to include Moana!

Such a beautiful book with fun details about each princess and all the characters involved in each story. Got this as a Christmas present for my 3.5 year old as a prep for our upcoming trip to Disneyland. She hasn't been overly excited about it - but I think once we hit Disneyland, that'll definitely change. 😊

It's like a Disney princess encyclopedia. For newbie parents who know nothing about princesses and their stories, this is a quick guide to who's-who in the stories. My daughter (and son) both love it and love referencing the book while watching Disney princess movies. Also promotes reading as they want to know what it says about each character. Love it!

My 4 year old loves this book. She carries it all over the house and takes it whenever we leave the house. I had to buy it because she was devastated when I returned the one we had borrowed to the library.

My daughter borrowed this book from our local library and she liked it so much, we got tired of extending the return date. So, Santa brought her one this Christmas. She loves it.It is quite thick book. Pages have a glossy shine, giving it a luxurious touch. Images are very high quality. So Disney!!As the title says, it is a character guide. So, the focus is on explaining the characters, not so much on the stories. You get to read small details about all the characters. If you want to read a story for the first time, it can be quite confusing as the stories are not very well explained.

Beautiful, high quality princess encyclopedia. I would have loved this as a kid. I would definitely buy this again for a little girl's gift. This is a book that one can treasure for years.
