Men's Watertight II Rain Jacket

I purchased this Columbia Watertight Rain Jacket in Mountain Blue for my brother-in-law, and it has been an excellent choice. For reference, he’s 5’8”, 140 pounds, and after reading other reviews that mentioned the jacket runs a bit large, we ordered a size Small. It fits him perfectly, so I’d recommend considering sizing down if you’re between sizes. The quality is outstanding, especially for the price. It’s lightweight, comfortable, and easy to pack, making it perfect to keep in the car or take on trips. It works great as both a rain jacket and a windbreaker, providing excellent protection from wind and Florida’s unpredictable rainy weather without feeling heavy or overly warm. The mesh lining helps keep air circulating, so it stays comfortable and doesn’t develop that hot, sweaty feeling while still keeping you dry. The adjustable hook-and-loop cuffs, lining, drawcord hem, zippered hand pockets, and storm flap over the zipper are thoughtful features that improve both comfort and weather protection. The length is just right, the fabric feels durable, and the fit is comfortable without being bulky. It’s perfect for walking the dog, running errands, or any outdoor activity during Florida’s rainy season. Loved it, great color, excellent quality, super light and beautiful

This rain jacket works. Kept me relatively dry in a north Georgia Mountain thunderstorm. The kind they call a "gully- washer"!

I have went through a lot of rain jackets and most of them leak. As soon as I got this I wore it in pouring rain and it didn’t leak at all. The fit is good as well, I wear a small and it fits around the hips perfectly but it is a little long. Packs up easily to about 8”x5”. For reference, I’m 5’8” 160 pounds.

Too early to tell how will it will do in the rain as there no rain in the forecast but so far, I love it. Will update the rating after rain use It is super lightweight and fits not make much of a crinkling noise. Nice to have both an inner and an outer rain flap and the inner rain flap protects the chin from zipper abrasion. FIT - slightly large for me (size SMALL) but I prefer it slightly large as the sleeves go down to my knuckles which is beneficial in the rain as I can pull my hands into the sleeves easily. The length covers my behind well too. There are no pit zips but this is not an expensive rain jacket. The jacket packs into the left pocket for easy transporting. When packed into the pocket, it is 9 inches long about the size of a DVD case

I get that it's gonna eventually get dirty.. But it's only been a week and there is stain that won't come out smh..so I'm not sure how well the material will hold up..despite the easy staining it's a great jacket for waterproof. And it looks great as well. Keep in mind the SIZE. I am 5'9 165lbs and I returned the medium because it felt like a large on me . What you see here is a small on me and small fits perfectly.
