These valve stems are AWESOME! I had a valve stem fail on my side by side while out on the trail. I always kept a pack of these with me but had never actually used one. I didn't want to break the bead of the tire because I wasnt sure that it would seal up again. I pulled the failed stem out of the wheel with pliers. This valve easily presses into the wheel from the outside. You hold the stem with a wrench while tightening the stem nut with another wrench and in less than a minute, it was ready for air. I aired up and checked for leaks; there were none. It's not just a Band-Aid, these can be left in permanently, so it has been three months and I haven't had any problems. These days, I am thrilled when something works as advertised. I purchased more to put in each of my cars and trucks. What a life saver!

Worked as advertised. Used it to repair my pressure tank on my well pump. Probably would be really good for off-road tires as well.

What a lifesaver! I had to use these on my motorcycle. Valve stem dry rotted and then my motorcycle jack broke so i wasn’t able to remove the wheel. Ordered this set and threw it on as soon as I received it. Still holding pressure and no issues at all!

For some reason the package looked like it was in someone's pocket for a while? The parts are genius. I wish I had known about this 40 years ago. Losing a valve stem is only made worse by what you have to do to replace it. Having a couple of these in the toolbox is like having your own ATM machine. Dude, you shove it in and pump it. Where have I heard that? Anyway, no lugs, no bead brakes just down the road. The moral to this adventure is maybe buy an extra set.

Had I purchased these before my 3000 mile road trip with my 5th wheel they would have been a life saver. Instead I spent 5 hours on the side of a highway with 2 valve stems that didn't want to cooperate. Put these on your towable. You won't regret it. Keep a couple spares in your kit. They are great.

My TPMS light came on, and one tire was visibly low. I tried to remove the valve cap, but the entire dry-rotted stem came off in my hand as my tire sadly exhausted all its air and lowered itself to the ground. Then I went to change to my spare, but my wheel lock shattered as can be seen in the picture. I could not get the tire off of the car. I asked an AI if any valve stems existed that could be mounted from outside the rim and I came across these life-savers! After a few days, they arrived and I was able to push the remnants of the original valve stem inside the rim, then connect one of these up, air up the tire, and drive the 60 miles home from where my car had broken down. I got it home without a pricey tow bill and now I can get the broken lock removed. It was the rare win-win, and you have to take those in life where you can get them!

Used this to replace a split valve stem on my van. The valve was easy to install and seemed to be doing the job, but there turned out to be a leak from the valve core which was not tightened enough inside the valve stem. This was obviously a very easy fix but make sure to order a valve core tool with this kit to check the core is tight before using. Otherwise, this has been on my van for a few months now with no issues, would definitely recommend carrying these as a spare if going on long trips or travelling off road

Haben mir schon häufig auf Reisen geholfen. Handhabung super einfach und schnell. Halten tun sie auch! Um sie heil wieder aus der Felge zu bekommen muss der Reifen abmontiert werden. Wirklich ein super Produkt, was in meinem Offroader als Ersatzteil nicht mehr fehlen darf. 2 Ersatzgummis sind mit dabei.

They really work well and are very easy to install However, removal of the old valve stem is not as easy as shown. I broke an old one and had to leave a piece inside the tire

great product for an emergency . remember you will also need an inflator and 1/2" socket and 3/8" ratchet or 1/2" wrench . you can get one on amazon : ) i had a leaking tire valve and thought ok now i am up sheitz creek. then i remembered buying these back in the fall . followed the easy instructions and was on and had my tire inflated in about 5 minutes. saved me a tow and the labour . oh and these are lifetime so no need to remove .
