Hello friends, I selected this scented wooden jigsaw puzzle and aromatherapy inhaler gift set for a gift.This is a very giftable item. I gifted this to someone who was going through some hard times. When I told him it was a puzzle they thought it was something that was made out of cardboard but when they saw the puzzle pieces where wood and well made they were delighted. All of the pieces have an unusual shape that is not typical. Some of the pieces even have nature prints like a leaf, a flower, and a piece of fruit. It's a small puzzle, but it is enough of a distraction with such visual appeal that it does relax you. The recipient says she has already taken it apart and done it twice. She just takes her time with a cup of tea. She says that the scape is cool and refreshing to look at. A small balm came with the puzzle. And the puzzle comes in a tin. She keeps the puzzle in the tin but the balm she leaves nearby. She puts it on her wrist and on the sides of her neck and just under her nose. It's a really good gift basket stuffer, stocking stuffer, or overall small token of thoughtfulness.

Everything comes in a sturdy reusable tin case, making it portable for trips. The substantial & irregularly shaped pieces make putting the puzzle together fun. They'll stand up to a lot of solving & re-solving.CONS:Product info reflects the Balm as both 0.03 fl. oz and 0.05 fl. oz, though since it also says it's 1.5g, it must closer to the latter amount.FINAL THOUGHTS:I really liked the scent of the Balm, even though that tube is pretty small. At least it makes it more portable to slip into a pocket or travel bag. The fun & unusual shapes added some difficulty, since the puzzle only has 40 pieces. I find that with these thicker wooden pieces, you can't put them together the same way as flatter, paper pieces. Dropping them into position works best. It took me about 15 mins. of leisurely moving pieces around to complete it. (I didn't really use my usual method of sorting by like colors first & then putting together the borders first.) If you need a bit of an extra challenge or get distracted by colors, you could also flip all the pieces to the plain wooden side without the image. And remember that these pieces don't really lock tight together, since they're meant to be put together, taken apart & put together again (& again).

I ordered this wooden puzzle and aromatherapy set for myself to use at work for when I need a moment to focus on something other than the usual stress. It comes in a cute tin that doesn’t take up much real estate on my desk. The puzzle (full of unique shapes) just takes a few minutes to complete, so it’s a nice size for a quick break. The small aromatherapy stick has about an inch of balm (approx circumference of a dime). I like the smell, but it is very faint and doesn’t add much to the experience other than the ritual of putting it on and practicing some deep breaths. I probably won’t buy another to give as a gift at this price point (approx $20 at time of review), but the presentation is certainly giftable if you have the money to spend.

It was calming just being able to stop what I was doing at my desk when Amazon arrived and put together this smallish puzzle with thick wooden pieces. I liked the shape and texture of the pieces. The colors and designs were nice to look at. The final picture was very serene. I thought the scent of the oil was okay not really for me, and did nothing for me, but overall the puzzle is what I enjoyed the most. The tin box that the puzzle came in has a flip-top lid and is well-made. I like the idea that I can just keep that in my desk and pull it out whenever I want and put the puzzle together. It only takes a few minutes, but those few minutes give me some breathing time, and a few minutes to sit back and relax. That's all I need. The box is the perfect size, it won't and doesn't take up much room in a desk or if you are traveling it is very slim so you can slide it easily into a backpack. I do find this a little pricy at $19.99, I feel $15 and under would be better fitting.

I liked the idea of this. The value of what you get for what you spend, makes this an extravagance. The balm is quite tiny and the puzzle is too. I do jigsaw puzzles every day online, and never do the same one twice. These pieces are cut into very abnormal shapes like round pieces and ones cut like an intricate flower or leaf. I found that to be a bit daunting initially.While all the pieces were there, and they fit together well, the printed image was very dark and blurry in color. When putting a puzzle together, one of the first things you do is look for pieces with smooth edges to complete the outside edges of the image, and then look for bright, matching, same colored pieces. That was very difficult to do with this puzzle. The balm smells nice but the amount of product inside is insanely small. My tin was also dented. At a much lower price point, reflective of the value, this would make a decent stocking stuffer. It's not much of a stand alone gift and after one use, I'm over it.

This was a very interesting item. The puzzle was cute and fun but be careful as the pieces can break easily. It was less relaxing and more difficult than I imagined. The scent roller smelt nice and was easy to use. The little tin it came in was super cute and could be used for other things later on as well. Interesting gift idea for a more outside the box type person!
