A good temporary fix
I was looking for a brace that could help stabilize a wearers thumb joint. Velco strips for the thumb and wrist help the wearer to get the right fit and support. Confortable to wear. Easy care.

Not bad
I needed something to help my thumb joint which has been bothering me from working at the computer all day. I used this on conjuction with changing to an ergonomic mouse and the two together have helped eliminate most of the pain. This brace is easy to use and pretty stable, actually maybe slightly more than I actually need. The only thing I don't like is it feels a little bit hot to me. So overall it's decent and works well enough for what I needed it for.

Not a great fit for me
This thumb brace isn't a really good fit for me. It didn't sit well against my thumb and the split didn't give me much support as the brace wanted to bend away from my thumb no matter how I placed it. I think it might work fine for someone with bigger hands but it hasn't worked great for me.

Amazing adjustable support, very comfortable.
This is sold as a thumb brace, and it would be great for that. It is very comfortable, flexible, and the brace part, a metal strip (like a popsicle stick) is bendable. All plusses... I used it sideways,, for my ring finger.I had a minor accident years ago, and ended up with a little permanent nerve damage to that finger. The only problem I had was that is messed up my piano playing.. a little.. just little. I tried my own supports, and finally gave up. This was perfect. The brace supports my finger just enough so that it doesn't droop down, when I am trying to play a cord. I have been looking for this kind of support for a long time, and I am so happy I finally found it. It will work just as well on a thumb.. Oh, I almost forgot, it comes with a very nice little pouch for storage, or for adding to a suitcase. Very convenient.

wrist support splint
I have recently gotten serious pain under my thumb on my right wrist. It is most likely a culmination of years of mouse and phone use, recent shoveling and excessive pouring at my job. Really, I don't know that much can be done except allowing my wrist to heal by not using it. Which is impossible. This splint kind of immobilizes my thumb which keeps me from making weird, random movements. It has a piece of metal on the thumb side that ensures it stays straight. If I could ask for one thing would be a video showing you how to wear it. It took me lots of tries to get it to fit like the images. It is can be worn multiple ways and a better explanation of which way works best would be helpful.

Versatile, effective, easy to use, comfortable.
I'm wearing it right now as I type this. Great thing about this brace is that it immobilizes all the right places and leaves freedom of movement in the other joints. The directions are all in the listing, they don't come with it, so keep track of the listing and you'll know what to do. It's very intuitive anyway. A great feature is that you can open a tiny flap and remove the aluminum plate, if you want a little support but not complete immobilization. It's very comfortable because the wrist strap is stretchy, and the velcro stays right where you put it. Secure, but not overly constrictive. The aluminum plate is very rigid, but you could probably alter the shape slightly if you needed to.It doesn't immobilize the wrist as much as the thumb and metacarpal joints, but it's more comfortable and practical than the ones with multiple aluminum stiffeners. It will fit a huge range of sizes, very adjustable. I like it a lot.

works for me
I hurt my wrist a month ago and from the (MANY) braces I tried this is one of the best. It is very comfortable and easy to adjust. I can still type with it on, though it is hard. The velcro is strong with is always a plus!
