Air in the straw! Please pick a different lid from another company!
These lids are TERRIBLE! Unlike some other reviewers, mine did arrive with a straw but something about it isn’t right. When you drink from the straw, there are air bubbles that enter somewhere and you end up getting a mouthful of air alongside your water. It’s super annoying. It also is not leakproof. If there is any liquid in your straw, it will come out. In a regular Stanley, the straw is typically located at 12 and 6 when you’re looking at the logo and the handle is on your right or left. With this lid, the straw is located in the same location as the handle or 180 degrees from it—basically at 3 and 9. That’s also kind of annoying but not the end of the world. The air bubbles in the straw are killing me though. It’s infuriating. Also, please be warned that you CANNOT return this item! It says that it must be returned in unused condition but I don’t know how I would have know about the air intrusion without having tried it first…
