Samson Magpul Grip Field Survivor Tool, Black

Didn’t fit. Two stars for effort. This could be a very useful tool and seems well made, but the sole purpose of purchasing this over a regular ar15 multi tool is so that it’s stowed away in the grip...well it dosnt do that, I have the Correct magpul grip and it simply won’t go in, the sides are too wide on the tool and it jams 3/4 of the way in.

I bought this as an emergency tool for my ar 15 , it's expensive for what it is , it had a tendency to get stuck in the grip , the front post adjust tool has already broke , the broken shell extractor is nice the mag go nogo gage is a nice feature As is the carbon scraper .

The tool itself is great. However as far as fitting nicely into the magpul grip on my ar, not so much. You have to wiggle it around to get it to click into place without falling out when you raise the rifle.

The Samson Magpul Grip Field Survivor Tool jams inside of the grip. The cap falls off easily as you try to extract the tool from the grip. I have to use a screw driver to remove the tool from the grip.

Does not even remotely fit in my MIAD grip. I even tried switching the base with my original, and it’s simply too tall. Very disappointed to send it back, but that’s what I’m going to do.

Does not fit well with the magpul grip of my AR 15.

Awesome piece of equipment. Components are well made (I tried them and they work well despite their size!) and simple instructions. Likely will never use but is good to know its there in case of disaster.
