These particular 'Iris' drawers, SDC-323, don't seem quite as sturdy as some of their other types (such as the NMC- and OCH- models). The plastic used seems thinner - a bit more bendy & flimsy. Also the way they open, from the bottom, is not very 'ergonomic'/user-friendly somehow.My initial order arrived damaged (a broken drawer & a snapped off piece of casing) - despite having been wrapped in a vast quantity of bubble-wrap etc. [Maybe 'Fragile' stickers would alert the delivery people to be more careful..] Amazon customer services have been very helpful & are sending out a replacement to me, so I really hope the second set will survive the warehouse & delivery processes - [Update: relieved to say the replacement unit arrived in good condition!]Iris do other sets of drawers made of slightly thicker plastic, and those drawers also open from the top, which I find much better.. I have one of those already: NMC-305 - though even one of the drawers in that set, which arrived in a very bashed about & punctured box, has a crack in it - which I decided I could live with if I relocated that drawer to the bottom of the unit. (I also have a set of the small table/desk-top drawers, OCH-2030, and they are a good design and much more sturdy.)I certainly recommend checking the drawer styles carefully before making a purchase.The Iris drawer units are a great idea for lightweight, practical and easy-to-move storage - and I haven't really seen better options elsewhere - however, like some other reviewers of the various Iris products, I do also find them a bit over-priced in view of the overall quality. The drawers also tend to have a few sharp/'unfinished' bits of plastic that need filing off.. However, after receiving an undamaged replacement I have still upped the star rating from 3 to 4 - though 3.5 might be about right :)

This worked well for me - I need it for all my crafting and the rollers underneath means I can put it under my desk to hide it when I’m finished. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is the bottom drawer sticks a little when I try to pull it out.

This is an excellent buy. We have it in the kitchen. We use the top drawer to put my hairdryer and brushes and combs in. The othes we put tea towels and hand towels in and the bottom drawer has all the odds and ends in.

Purchased two of these items between Christmas and New year to store Xmas tree baubles in, so need to be sizeable, stable and easily moveable. I do find them suitable for the job i purchased them for however upon opening the packaging i discovered the black top on one item to be broken. This had clearly happened at construction stage, before packaging because there was no broken fragment within the plastic bag and bubble wrap/box packaging. I wish to get the black 'lid/top' replaced and retain the rest of the item. Not sure how to go about this though. Disappointed that one is damaged since product seems reasonable otherwise.

This is currently doing a fantastic job housing some of the smaller Bionicle and Lego parts my son has that used to be all over his floor. Arrived in ROI assembled (except for the rollers, which slide into their positions easily and stay in), with no cracks, scuffs or other damage. The drawers are thicker plastic than I expected and do not come all the way out unless you pry them out. The rollers work well on flatter carpet/rugs and wooden floors. For women worried about their fingernails, these slide open and closed easily and the grip to open (at the bottom of each clear plastic drawer) is large enough to not be a broken nail waiting to happen. My only gripe is I grab to move it by the top and with the top being removable it comes off every time, but eventually I'll learn. :) In summary, this is a durable plastic storage unit I have no trouble recommending to those with crafts, toys, tools, kitchen, bathroom, garage or office items needing out of the way.

Very robust and practical. Like the variation of drawer size. It saves scrabbling around for pens etc in the larger ones. Looks and feels like it will last.

Solid, sturdy and robust. Bought to store craft materials and really pleased with how much I can fit in. Would be nice if drawers were removable so I could take it my work table without unpacking it all but the plus is you don't pull the drawer out too far so everything ends up on the floor when you are in a hurry.
