(literally me giggling and kicking my feet during this scene no joke!)I am in love with Mr. Crawford! I read the book and then did the audio! It's a chef's kiss from me!

I was excited to read Tyson's story after seeing him in other books by Shantel Tessier. I wanted to learn more about the girl he lost, but as usual with Shantel's books, the story had surprising twists.Tyson has gone through a lot as a Lord. When he finally gets his chance for revenge, he takes it. However, revenge soon turns into something more. Tyson is very possessive, which adds to his intense charm.The chemistry between Lake and Tyson is electric, filled with lots of spice and tension. Compared to Sin & Ryat's story, Tyson's actions towards Lake seem less dark.I also enjoyed getting a better look into the world of Carnage. Shantel Tessier combines surprising plot twists with strong emotions, making The Ritual an exciting read from start to finish.
