Amazing product. I haven't been sleeping very well for a while due to stress and after sleeping under this blanket I've been sleeping through the night. I used to pile blankets and laundry on top of my bed to sleep better and so this idea of a weighted blanket made sense to me. I tend to fluctuate in weight and I'm on the edge of the recommended weight categories, so I went up instead of down. I will say it feels heaviest on my legs, but no loss of circulation or anything like that. If you fall clearly into a weight category I'd say 100% stick to it, if not just choose the weight you usually are

I was a little skeptical about buying a 20-pound blanket, but I read a review in The Strategist that this GoodKnight blanket was the best -- and at a great price point -- so I ordered one. Although it, like all 20-pound items, is a little difficult to get positioned on my bed, once it was in place, I've slept fabulously. The pellets stay in place (there are squares sewn in the blanket) and it feels like you're being hugged while you sleep (or read or watch TV in bed). I've already told three friends about this and hope they will buy ones for themselves. I am so glad I bought this for my anxiety.

Purchased this for a christmas present. Looks to be made of good quality. All i can say at this point.

I'm loving it so much.. I sleep so much better then I have in a long time.. It looks nice and feels cool. I don't get hot at night or do I get cold its just right.. 20lbs is perfect... P.S. Haha my kids can't take it from me because it weighs to much hahaha..

Hello, Blanket making people,I usually toss, turn, move to different beds and get a crummy night sleep. I am an olympic level worrier and I do my best worrying at night. So I ordered your blanket and while ordering I looked at the 7 lb model and the 10 lb model and then I saw the 20 lb model. I thought go big or go home.I bought the 20lb model. Well, I used the blanket on the first night and when I woke up in the morning my left calf informed me that it had been lifting weight all night - added bonus, a workout while you sleep! My husband told me that when he looked over at me that it looked like a person was buried in a shallow grave but not only that I slept like the dead too. Seriously what more can you ask for from a blanket? I slept like the dead. I love my blanket and to verify even more how great it is, I woke up before my alarm today. Did not even know that was a thing.

I purchased 2 weighted blankets. One was exactly as advertised and expected, and the 2nd blanket was totally not what I expected. This was supposed to be a 17lb blanket, but instead the package said 20lbs. Well i took it out of the package and felt like i was covered in wet cement. It was so heavy. I put it on a scale and it weighted 27lbs, it still felt much heavier. Our occupational therapist could barely lift it. In addition to that, it felt damp and had a very weird musty smell. And then, i saw what appeared to be bleach marks and in another area it looker like long streak markings from a machine and a weird brown marking, very rust like. My best is this was either used or some kind of glitch. Either was i was very unsatisfied. We buy a lot of weighted blankets, and this was the worst.

Purchased the 20 pound. I have never had a weighted blanket before. This blanket made me an instant convert. I thought the weight was going to not be heavy enough. It is perfect. I thought the beads would make noise. They do not. You should buy a duvet for it. Have not washed it yet. I am a convert. I am sleeping much better. Never going back to regular blankets that I used to stack on me and sweat out the night. Now the only problem is, I am going to need to bring it with me on every trip I take.

Update:I do still love the blanket, but I am very upset that I have only used it a handful of times- and gently- and it leaks horribly! This handful is from me gently folding it to put it away.Original post:I don't leave a lot of reviews, but I love this blanket. I get full blown anxiety attacks sometimes and this blanket feels like you’re surrounded by a hug, without the pressure of having inconvenienced someone. lol. It feels really heavy until you're actually wearing it, then you kind of forget, but your limbs feel heavy. Like you’ve been swaddled like a baby. Its just really comforting.
