Best chip I've ever had.
My wife uses our PC for editing photos and video using Adobe, and I do some casual gaming as well, and our trusty old 3600 was showing it's age with the plethora of AI features in Adobe, and some modern gaming titles. So after some research (and talking myself out of an x3D chip) I settled on the 9900 as an upgrade.I could not be happier: excellent temps under load, not overly power hungry, and the performance is a gigantic step up. 131 points in Cinebench 24 single-core, and 1789 points in multi-core.It's a great chip, and it's been extremely stable and runs cool under normal workload.

Excellent gaming performance so far
Works very well with my Gigabyte motherboard and high-end air cooling. Haven’t tried overclocking yet but most games will run on their highest settings without it.

Its a 9000 series processor and definity is made very well
So far this processor handles everything i though at it, gaming capabilities unhindered, speed very fast, installs easy, and priced fair at the time of purchase.

High performance at an attainable price
This CPU had to satisfy a lot of requirements and it did. I am using this on a Minisforum MS-A1, which only delivers 105 watts for a dual ccd AM5 CPU and 90 for a single CCD CPU. I went through a 7700 which was good but I wanted better, a 7900x which was powerful but it was leaving too much performance on the table and then finally when I got the 9900x, the performance was outstanding. The CPU reaches 94 degrees under full CPU+GPU load but that's expected but the scores on benchmarks are significantly better and about 95% of a full powered motherboard. This was the best CPU for my application and it just feels so much more responsive and powerful than any of the others I tried. This is a performance monster, even with limited power draw. At the current 383 dollar price it is a wholehearted recommendation.

Excellent productivity gaming CPU!
This is an excellent productivity and gaming CPU, exactly what I was looking for and at its current sale price ($378) it was a no brainer! It’s efficient the temps are great using a AIO and don’t be fooled it’s gaming performance is excellent. I highly recommend this chip.

Nice performance bump comparing to 5900x
Runs cooler and faster, what's not to like. No stability issues with tweaked CO.

Good processor but runs warm at idle
Just finished my first AMD build. It presented no problems (I've probably built 30 or more desktops). But the CPU idles at about 50 Celsius. I changed the case to move to a 360 AIO, but that didn't help. I repasted the CPU, but still no luck. So I moved to the highly-rated Artic Liquid Freezer III, and the idle temps have not dropped at all. My Intel i9-13900k (replaced by Intel because I got one of the bad ones) idles about 10c cooler. On minimal testing, it seems ok under stress. But the idle temp is so high I'm worried

Cool CPU
Great CPU, doesn't run too hot and handles everything I throw at it. I mostly use it for programming, but I also game and use CAD.
