Returned found some i had laying around, but these were really good quality, worth the price.

Some outdoor doorways are not always built so sturdy that they are invulnerable to swelling and contracting over different temperatures, or sagging/moving over time. I have such a gate near my chicken coop. It's sturdy enough to keep them safe, but isn't exactly made of 6x6s and cemented 4' in the ground the way it should be. These adjustable hinges are perfect for re-tuning the fit from time to time and keeping things so that they lock and latch as they should. I also love the added bonus that you can adjust the spring tension, another thing that tends to vary in hotter/colder months. These are quality made and work great!

So I can't really think of anything that I would dislike about these hinges. They are fully adjustable so your gate closes perfectly every time. They have a nice decorative look to them and great build quality and Design. Pretty easy to install on 4x4 wood posts with 2x4 gate. Little on the expensive side but considering the adjustability and steel construction I think they're worth it. Function very well.

These hinges are high quality and solid. I would have loved for them to work with my gate, however, they do not. The space between your gate post and the post itself has to be (i would guess) at least 3" for these to work. Mine only had about an inch. There is a bolt that restricts the angle of the door and mine won't open far enough to attach it. Even taking the gate off of the hinges would not work as the bolts would pop out because of the restriction. I think they would be excellent hinges if they just fit the gate. I would suggest the listing be adjusted to include a parameter of space between the gate and the gate post.

Most spring loaded hinges have one setting that's fixed. I really liked that you can "dial it in" so it suits the application. You can load the spring up to move heavier gates, or back it off so it doesn't slam the gate. The adjustability is definitely a bonus I hadn't considered, but this is easier to adjust than the other adjustable hinges I saw and less expensive for a set!

I have used a few different gate hinges on fence builds but these seem to be the easiest to use and then level. They are strong and close the gate easy. I like how its easy to fine tune leveling a gate while attached. Medium duty, good powder type coat and good finish. I would use these again on another gate.

We finally replaced our property fencing and put in new gates! Part of it was getting the right hardware. I just installed these. They are beautiful.You'll want to double check dimensions to ensure they'll fit your gate setup. I did and made sure that my gate had a stout framing member to anchor these to. They aren't huge, but you'll need to ensure solid mounting space on your gate and post.The hinges themselves are great quality and built out of thick material. The satin black finish is smooth and nicely finished. Spring tension is perfect and works consistently every time. I'm sure these hinges will last many, many years.Installation was simple using the included fasteners. No issues at all. Since our fencing and gate are new, I pre-drilled holes and set the lag bolts in tight. The hinges work smoothly without any squeaking or creaking and keep my very heavy gate closed; even in wind.I recommend these highly. Really great value, fast shipping, and great seller.
