Spigen Slim Armor Pro Designed for Pixel 9 Pro Fold Case (2024) [Hinge Protection] - Black

I have purchased 6 different cases for my Pixel Pro 9 Fold. The lightest cases didn't protect the hinge which I found out is crucial. My daughter dropped my phone from a counter top while reaching for something and the phone fell on the hinge. That destroyed the inside screen. I have since been looking for a case that protects the hinge. The problem has been the weight with every case I have tried. The Spigen adds weight but not as much as all the other cases I have tried. The other very important feature is that the Spigen case doesn't come with a screen protector built into the from part of the case. Every case I have bought has not only been super heavy, but comes with a cheap built in screen protector that makes the screen look crappy. The Spigen screen has allowed me to use a high quality glass screen protector (purchased separately) for the front screen. I highly recommend this case.

Friend purchased this when pixel 9 pro fold released and the sizing was as off so I opted to buy the official phone case from Google even though it lacked a spine cover. I saw reviews that Spigen had done a recall and fixed the molding and thought I would try it out in 2025. The back of the phone clips in and fits well however the front has no way to stick to the phone other then their adhesive strips. There is no satisfying click sound that helps the front case stay on and it's all relying on the adhesive tape which over time I doubt will stay on. They do provide an additional set of adhesive tape but overall I think the front case design needs more work and would not recommend for a phone case especially for the costs.

This is simply the better case for a Pixel 9 Pro Fold. I had the Thinborne case and liked how thin it was, but it failed me on a single two foot drop from a chair seat by bending the hinge...game over. With the replacement Pixel 9 Pro Fold I ordered this Spigen case. I only with I had ignored some of the less stellar reviews for it. It feels better, doesn't have the sharp edges along the bottom, it seamlessly protects the hinge and doesn't have a god awful cover over the front screen (just get a screen protector). Photos are a side-by-side of the hinge-injured phone with the Thinborne case and the replacement with the Spigen... Very little difference, actually feels better one-handed and the hinge is protected.

I bought this when the phone launched, I haven't had any warping issues, or the adhesive coming loose. But the part of the case bumper started peeling back within a month. I added one little drop of super glue, seems to have solved it for now. But I shouldn't have to be gluing together a premium case for a very expensive phone. Hopefully nothing else comes loose. The pros are that it does give full protection to the hinge, and edges. Screen protector fits perfectly inside it. Helps a lot with that big pixel camera bump. So long as nothing else comes loose. Hopefully it's just a first run problem

Fit great and then it started to fail. The front parts that are adhered began to fall off or catch on the hinge protector. The farther downhill it went. The hinge protector kept getting caught on everything, especially on my pocket. Eventually snapping. 2 stars because it was great for a few months and the back still protects most of my phones.

Quick update: I came back to the product page to find dimensions. The only issue I've had with the size and bulk of the phone is that my current magnetic phone holder is not big enough for the case so the phone wants to slip out while driving. I think I've found a suitable replacement. But while here I read some reviews saying that the front cover pops off. I so far have not had that issue. I made sure to clean the phone with the alcohol pad and dry it thoroughly. I had one small issue getting the cover off of one piece of the included double sided tape but that is. I also added regular screen protector before putting the front on because it does not have a built in screen protector for the front screen. So far it feels like it's on really good! Spigen includes extra pieces of double sided tape if needed. Hopefully that will be enough for people to fix the front piece without it falling off. Otherwise it's pretty useless. Unfortunately their just aren't many options for covers so far. I also purchased this one while waiting for the Spigen. It was great and had a built in screen protector for the front screen. I've already seen people post about damaging the hinge in drops without a cover and I'm just not willing to risk that. It is a gorgeous phone without the case but also heavy and awkward, making it prone to drops. This case is worth every penny if protects the phone for a few years. I added a glass screen protector to the front screen as this cover doesn't include that. I ordered a cheaper option to cover me for the past week and it came with a front cover with a built in screen protector. It was so much bulkier than this one from Spigen. If you want to protect the phone, including the hinge, I'm now sure anyone can do better than this.

The case is thick but will keep your phone safe! This case looks amazing and the instructions are easy to follow! Just make sure you never take off the case because its glued on by the strips! if you switch your case a lot this case is not for you! But if you're a one and done case kind of person I'd highly recommend this one even if the price is high!

This is a great case. Make sure you use alcohol wipes (I used more than what was provided) to get everything super clean when installing. Take your time and it will stick on great! Grips enough to hold but not too much to keep it from sliding into a pocket.

Good stuff: Super strong: Keeps your phone safe from drops and bumps. Hinge protection: Protects the delicate folding part. Easy to hold: The case is grippy and won't slip out of your hand. Not so good: A bit bulky: Makes your phone thicker. Sticky: Needs sticky tape that it comes with to attach, removal of SIM card requires reattachment. Overtime I can see this going. Pricey: Costs more than some other cases. Screen protector: if you have a tempered glass screen protector, it might not fit, as that extra thickness tampers with the adhesive tape attachments.

Bought this to replace a non fitting mous case. It is a million times better! I've had it for months now and have thoroughly tested it with multiple drops (not deliberately). It's now scratched and battered but still surviving and doing it's job. My phone is perfect, completely unscathed. The case is still stuck to it fitting perfectly.

Feels solid .it is magsafe compatible if you buy the magfit magnetic sticker. However, it does nor include magsafe my default for this price range. It is a bit overpriced. Also the hinge cover does cover a bit of the out screen when unfolded while taking selfies.

C'est une vraie coque qui est très bien adaptée au Fold. Elle est onéreuse mais très qualitative. Je recommande.

Ben fatto, solido. Rende il pixel più grande ma il form factor del fold si presta a queste dimensioni. Secondo me è anche più comodo da tenere.
