Don't trust rechargeables, as they build in obsolescence. Often it's (deliberately) poor USB connectors that no longer connect for charging. So, I purchased another one so I have two now. The older remote is showing wear and heavy use but that's OK. Radio range is superb. Have a 10,000 sq foot yard so can up to volume anywhere on the property (as tested). It's used for a setup with outdoor speakers, and amplifiers hooked up to 13 speakers. Battery life is excellent. I use the device for Android box for playing movies and music so it's heavily used. Best remote period. Battery operated is the way to go. Seems like tip-toeing-through-the tulips with USB connectors used to recharge rechargeable types and devices only goes so far. Note how they require more and more jiggling until they can't be recharged anymore. A It's a common problem with rechargeables. The the USB connection seems good from the start. Even had some problems with power connectors so these are locked down to prevent any movement. As prophesized such devices no longer charge like so much Chinese stuff except the really high-end products purchases that rich people who are also Chinese collaborators and investors buy. Another strike for other remotes was the dedicated USB dongles having two identical model remotes didn't mean that the dongles could be used interchangeably. If one dongle malfunctions then the other remote no longer works despite having another one. A look at the manual shows no programming fixes. In contrast, this product was a pleasant surprise great price and works very well with android boxes. Product ships with a dongle that could be used to set it up if the connecting device doesn't support Bluetooth. If the box does support it this remote could be easily be setup like any other Bluetooth remote in the box freeing a USB port. I really like how well it scrolls like a mouse and batteries last for months. For all remotes, I open the battery pack and flip one of them (mindful of the spring) when not in use because replacing them frequently is a pain. It's weird where the original remote for my android is required to start up the device. I can't the IR function to work. That part is needed for devices with IR. That's when I ran into the power connector problem where plugging and plugging forced me to get another box. That's when the "connector trick" for planned obsolesce was discovered. The mouse has a dongle that is fully functional. It uses up a slot. If you play music a lot in say a patio and for gardening it's best to use it. However, the mouse works directly with Bluetooth but you lose features like pause. Basic functions like volume works.

A web search for the Google reference design G20 remote (built to spec by Ohsung Electronics in Korea) will turn up a link to this device. This is NOT the Google reference design, and is not even styled or labelled like it. For a look at the real Ohsung G20, refer to what Rocktek bundles with their G2 streaming box. It is, however, very compatible (in Bluetooth mode) with various Android TV and Google TV devices. It is also (to my knowledge) the only device having "air mouse" capabilities which runs on replaceable batteries. It pairs easily with ATV devices and all of the basic functions work fine once you get used to the non-standard button labels. I think that most of the negative reviews here stem from people trying to use this with other AV devices which are connected by the USB wireless dongle. Compatibility and function seem to vary greatly and I would not recommend a random buyer to invest in this device for that purpose.

Needed a remote with number buttons to use with my streaming devices. My streaming service supports number input for channel changing and a back button function much like channel of sat. None of the streaming devices (i.e firestick, googletv) have FULL remotes. This device fit the bill perfectly. What I like, its lighted, it have a mouse toggle, it works both with usb dongle and bluetooth. I did have a small problem using it on bluetooth. It would loss connection after sitting for a while. But never had a problem with the usb dongle. Cant speak for the voice commands as I dont use them. Would I buy again, yes.

Product is great, responsive, zippy, and does what it claims. Battery life is good, quality is good enough, and it's Ease of Use is just as advertised. Sadly - the most important button (OK) does not work or even register for Linux (tried multiple distros and desktops) unless you're in air-mouse mode. Spent a ton of time making custom mappings and it's still not quite there. It worked great on Android, but is sadly not something I'd recommend if you have a Linux Kodi server or similar.

This product doesn't work and it is no longer supported by the manufacturer - there are no updated drivers available to download. Also, this seller should be blocked from selling on Amazon. They will not accept any return and won't provide a refund. BEWARE!!!!!!
