I’ve owned several dog doors over the years, and, unfortunately, I’ve had to replace them every few years due to wear and tear. This time, I decided to try a French dog door, and I’m thoroughly impressed with my decision. The quality is exceptional, and the installation process was straightforward and hassle-free. Most importantly, my dogs are enjoying it, which speaks volumes about its functionality and design.What really stands out is the durability of this door. I believe it will last for many years, unlike the others I’ve owned. I also appreciate the thoughtful design—if one of the sides ever breaks, it's easy to replace with just the push of a button.The door is installed on the south side of my house, which gets quite a bit of wind. While the doors remain securely closed, I plan to add the sliding closure to fully eliminate any drafts in my barn. Overall, I’m extremely satisfied with this purchase and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable and long-lasting dog door.

I purchased the “Large” sized version of this doggie door for my adult Siberian husky. The size fits her perfectly.Quality:Metal framed with plastic doors and hinge inserts. Overall build quality is solid. My dog goes in and out about 10 times an hour it seems, and I’m confident this will hold up to her use over time.Install:Straight forward install with no issues. Cut the door, slide each doggie door side into place and fasten with included hardware. I used some construction adhesive along the inside edges and silicone caulking around the outside edges for water shedding.Reason for Purchase:Recently moved to new house and didn’t bring old doggie door with me. I switched from the doggie door style with the vertical rubber flaps to this plastic French door style. Both styles do a similar job keeping the weather out of the house.Overall I would recommend this to anyone looking for a doggie door.

I ordered this dog door because the one I had would get moisture on it, freeze and make it difficult for my small dog to push the flap to get back inside. The aluminum frame is durable and looks good. Installation was easy even though the instructions had a ton of typos. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because of the door panels pop off. My 80lb pitbull comes through like the freaking kool aid man. He has popped one of the panels off a few times now. I am glad it hasn't broken and hope it holds up.

Initially I had lower expectations due to the lower price compared to many dog doors the same size. After unpackaging and installing, I am honestly impressed. I have previously had a dog door that was all plastic and got destroyed quickly, this door will definitely last longer than the last. Install was simple, came with a guide. I am very happy with the purchase. The door has different flaps that are magnetic compared to traditional dog doors but my dogs were able to figure it out quickly. The only thing that I would change would be the screws that came with the item, I had a couple of them break so I had to use alternate screws which did not change the functionality of the product. I would still definitely recommend

Shipping was spot on. It arrived undamaged and well packaged. The height and width is perfect for all my furbabe's. We have 3 different sizes and finding a dog door to fit them all is challenging. Instructions are clear and easy to follow for installation. Wife likes the French door style, however she wasn't paying attention and cut herself on one of the corners. We're used to plastic frames and the aluminum got her. Lol! She especially likes the inner security door because it's also aluminum and sturdier than most. Best choice for our needs.

Easy to install and seemed well made. You do need some tools and mechanical ability. At first the doors didn't want to return to the shut position fully. It seemed to wear in a little.

This door was easy to install and my dogs took to it quickly. The doors lasted one month. The problem was the bottom corner peg that lets the door open and close broke off ( I think that side door was maybe defective) I was unhappy because there was no replacement door for this unit. I finally heard back from a representative for this door and they impressed me with how they worked with me, since I ordered a second door. This gives me greater piece of mind since the replacement is still swinging strong. Great dog door alternative, for dogs that chew on the softer plastic ones. Thank you so much!!

We bought this door for East facing access to our yard off a 3 seasons porch. The door was installed in a prior opening and the French door flaps are easy for the dogs to push through, HOWEVER its a bit of a learning curve for our male dog that was used to the weighted flap system. He's 100 pounds of 'special' and would push forward through the flaps, then question his decision and pull his head back causing the door to reverse on the hinge's thus catching his fat head in between the flaps causing him to panic and inadvertently pop the doors off. This process repeated itself for several hours until a squirrel caused him to just barrel through the door and he had his "lightbulb moment".Our female just used the door without issue.....shocking.....The only other complaint is the flaps are lightweight and blow open several inches with light wind. This does allow for rain and snow and drafts to come into our porch area. We are currently adding magnets to the bottom and the top of the panels to hopefully alleviate that issue.
