Charged right up and seems to work well, only time will tell.

I needed a 14.4 volt battery for my old DeWalt XRP power drill. This battery was the answer. It is fully compatible not only with the XRP drill but the DeWalt DW9116 Charger. The battery comes partially charged but after a few minutes in the charging station, it kept it's charge very well while operating the drill.A very good product for the money.

Great price on this battery, and so far charges and holds charge well. Nice fit in my DeWalt 14.4V drill.Would have given this a 5 star except the bottom outer dimension of this battery is larger than the oirginal.Normally wouldn't be an issue but my drill came in a nice hard plastic carry case. This case has compartments for the drill with battery attached, a spare battery, and the charger. It is a very rugged case that has served me well over the years. I only bought one of the batteries in this review and tried closing the case with this battery attached to the drill, as well tried placing in the spare battery compartment. Because the battery has a larger than original DeWalt OEM battery bottom out dimension - the lid of my plastic case does not close all the way, and I can not latch the lid shut.I took a dremel tool and ground down a few of the internal case dividers in order to try and have the battery sit lower in the case. I was able to close the lid down far enough so that the lid was only 1/8" from fully closing properly, but it was enough so that the external case latches were able to secure the case lid shut.

I should have paid more attention to the other reviews that said that this battery was not good. You will regret buying this battery. This was used in a DeWalt drill that is in very good shape and it will only last for about 7 to 8 minutes of use of drilling. The factory battery last closer to 40 minutes. I was trying to contact the seller of this battery but on the Amazon app on my phone there is no option to do that.Revised review. The company has very good customer service and they immediately got in touch with me after my review to get a replacement battery to me. They were very quick about it and it worked excellent.

My old (and trusty) DeWalt drill was not running up to speed. So I figured it was either burned out or the battery I had for it was dead or dying. Upon reading reviews for this battery, I thought, why not? Maybe a generic battery will bring it back to life. AND IT DID! I feel like my drill is brand new again. The fit of the battery on the drill is snug and perfect. Great product at a great price. Thanks for this. A+

This battery was defective in that it would not fit into the DeWalt charger. May have been a defect in this one battery. Even if pressed into the charger, it would not go all the way and then was extremely difficult to remove. It had to be pried out. Could not see any visual defect.

Haven’t used it too much yet, but battery takes a charge and snaps onto the DeWalt drill that I bought it for. Drill runs great - I can’t tell any difference in the way it works between this battery and a factory-branded battery. However, this battery is bigger and heavier than the stock batteries - too tall to fit into the plastic case with the drill and battery charger. Maybe i can trim off some of the plastic dividers inside the case to make it fit…

Exact duplicates of the original batteries. I was given a drill and I couldn't get the batteries to hold a charge. I thought that the drill was defective. I ordered these batteries and now the drill works fine. Very pleased.
