Great product very pleased

I've used many different kinds of sound deadening material over the years. This is not the same as Dynamite or one of the other brands that is a rubber or tar asphalt based sound deadening material. This one is pretty thin and the adhesive is not the greatest but this would go well in between two panels that are vibrating in the car.

This appears to be good quality closed cell sound insulating foam! I have used Siless brand previously and this seems to be fairly similar. I like that it comes in a roll instead of small sheets, since you can more easily use it for large areas. For smaller areas like doors and other small panels, it is easy enough to cut to size.I always use a butyl rubber vibration deadener as a base layer prior to laying down a sound insulation barrier like this. The combination seems to work well since it blocks vibration as well as slowing the passage of outside noise.100% would recommend!

I got this foam roll to help insulate the floor of the cab in our Sprinter camper. There is a lot of engine heat that comes through the fire wall and the floor and it heats up the cab to the point that during the summer the air conditioner can't keep up. And if we put a bottle of cold water on the floor between the seats, it's not long before the water is warm.This foam roll is very easy to work with; it cuts easily with utility scissors. The adhesive seems adequate, although with the amount of heat it will have to endure, I just hope it stays put over the long term. It's installed directly on the vinyl floor with the floor pads laid over it. One nice thing is that it keeps the carpet from migrating. We haven't taken the camper on a long trip since we installed this, but on the trips we have taken, it does significantly reduce the heat coming through the floor. We didn't notice much noise reduction, but that was not our major reason for installing it.My husband now wants to install it in the cab of our big tractor, because on hot summer days, the heat in the cab is unbearable and he has to open the windows, even with the air conditioner on. He has to do some of his spraying at night because he can't spray with the windows open.Overall, this is a quality product that gives a lot of relief, and at a reasonable price.

Fast and easy to work with , cuts or even tears by hand quite well. Has a very sticky backing that makes it fast to adhere without worry of falling off. Had some issues with adhearing when sticking to OSB subfloor of my house, but it is very rough and not super clean. Otherwise ductwork and furnace it is perfect! Knocks out some tinny sounds , vibrations and overall just sounds more solid and quiet. Good for so many uses (car , inside of dryer and washing machine , any sound insulation use! )

I would not use this as a stand alone sound deadening material on it's own. It is of good quality, and very sticky just not that thick. I used it over a butyl sound deadening material as a thermal barrier on the firewall of an older vehicle restoration and I am happy with the results. The firewall stays cooler and it did tone down the engine/driveline noise a bit.

The sound deadening material is great. Quality. It adheres very well. It is easy to install. Works great at keeping sound out and holding in the heat. Great value!
