Hydrogen Water Bottle, 14OZ Portable Hydrogen Water Bottle GeneratorWell, I don't know if I buy into the claimed health benefits of "hydrogen water", but the device itself is pretty nifty. And there are certainly health benefits to water, hydrogen or not.The bottle is thick glass, feels pretty tough. The seals are silicone. When active, you can see the H2 and O2 bubbles, and the blue light is pretty cool looking.This works by using a small electric current to break the water (H2O) molecules into hydrogen (H2) and oxygen (O2) molecules. There's no separate outlet for the oxygen, so the bubbles you see are both hydrogen and oxygen bubbles. After the generation cycle, just for kicks, I tried passing a flame nearby as I opened the top. I didn't see any change in the flame. Hydrogen is highly flammable, so the hydrogen content must not have been that high or dissipates very quickly as the top is opened.Cleaning of the glass and lid are pretty easy. But the base is a concern. The base is non-submersible and has a plastic grate above the electrolysis mechanism. Other than filling the bottle with water and shaking it around a bit, the bottom part is not cleanable.

Edit: finally got to try tap water today. I would recommend AGAINST using tap water. It had an after taste that the spring water did not. For context, we have well water with a whole house water filter. I got the water from the refrigerator that also has a filter. So the water is double filtered and still tastes awful. The spring water had zero after taste so the issue is with tap water. People with city water have all kinds of chemicals in their water and it would probably taste worse. Now I know why the other one said no tap water.I have been slowly trying to do things to improve my health. Haven’t gotten into the whole exercise thing yet, but I have been changing my diet and drinking more water. Baby steps. I had heard about hydrogen water and figured I would give it a shot. Even if it has no health benefits over regular water, this will get me drinking more water. I am supposed to drink 96 ounces a day per various agencies. Men have to drink more every day. If you are active and exercise, you’ll need to drink more to keep hydrated.The set up was easy. I like this one, because I have another one that said mineral (spring) water only. No tap or well water. This says tap water is ok, but no distilled water. I think it needs minerals in the water to do its thing, and distilled water has no minerals. When I took the glass from the base, the rubber seal at the bottom of the glass came with it. I didn’t reseat it correctly, so it started leaking when I put water into it. Once I fixed that, it worked just fine. The operation is simple. Push one button and wait three minutes. There is a loudish beep that tells you it’s done. I do wish it held more water, but it’s not the end of the world, since I can use tap water. I think the water tastes the same, which I would prefer.Charging it is simple to. It comes with a USB Type C cable. If you lose it, any USB Type C cable will work. So far, I like it. Hopefully this will help me get to my goal of 96 ounces or more a day and stay there.

Love the ease of being able to bring it with me but be careful as it is glass.

I can't speak 100% to the health benefits of hydrogen water, but this is an easy to use device that makes a noticeable difference. Each component comes apart for easy cleaning, and charging is easy. Add water, press the button to start the process, and be dazzled by light and bubbles until you get a refreshing cup of water that really does have a different mouthfeel. I definitely recommend this.

Very good product. Last a surprisingly long time per charge. Good quality. Only issue I had was after I took apart to wash the bottom seal was very difficult to reseat and seal. Took me almost 30 minutes and lots of sweating to finally get it sealed properly.But works great. Perfect size.

The glass bottle is nice, it's easy to clean/wash since both ends can be screwed off. However, I tried many times, but it still leaks from the bottom when switched on. Also, after full charge, it does not turn on all the time. After multiple tries, it did turned on once, started to bubble, and auto-stopped after 3 minutes. When opened, you can smell the ionized water. When I used tap water, I could still taste the tap water so using other recommended water source would be better. It's an attractive product, but I was disappointed that it did not work as smoothly as expected (the leak and the on/off). Maybe it's only mine, so hopefully yours will work fine.

I'm a big fan of hydrogen water so I get these every chance I get to give to them to family members and Friends. I tested this one with a blue dropper. And the first drop the water went clear so that proves that it has at least 1,000 ppm of hydrogen. The second drop was a very light blue. It has less than 2000 ppm. But it at least has a thousand ppm which is great. I think your body can only absorb 1600 ppms of hydrogen so I'm willing to bet that this is probably at least that.When washing this bottle, ensure you keep track of the top and bottom of the glass, as there's a slight difference between them. If reversed, the bottle may leak from the bottom when reassembled. Also, make sure the rubber pieces are properly in place, and the glass is tightly secured at the bottom before pouring water into it after washing. It's easy to mix up, which can make the bottle seem faulty, but it's often just a matter of having it upside down or not securing the rubber washer correctly. There are rubber washers for both the lid and the bottom where the glass connects to the base electrical hydrogen charger.
