So you can choose to put it or not, depending on what you are going to do or wearing a skirt or trousers. The straps are adjustable. The flap of the hip bag is plain black and square, it has no extra rivet decoration, only two press buttons. I put two D-rings to can hang some things on ( e.g. keys or littler water bottle) I can also put two smaller straps and buckles ( choose on ordering with the variations) This hip bag has got three pockets : Bag with big pocket on the top with zipper 30 x 15 cm a pocket in front also with zipper (20 x 12 x 3 cm) , and another pocket in front of that. I can make the pockets smaller or larger on request. The straps you can adjust with the metal adjusters, as well as with the buckles.I can make the straps as long as you want.The size is measured on the place where you are going to wear it ( so normally under the waist), over the kind of clothes you will normally wear under.
