Great as a thickener!
This product was a lifesaver for my 3 month old son who has been suffering from acid reflux since birth and can't keep down liquids of thin consistency. Since a baby's only form of nourishment is milk, he was dangerously underweight from vomiting after every feed. I read up on Carob bean gum as a thickener for the baby's bottle and there's been no looking back!! The milk becomes thick & viscous after mixing in half a teaspoon and he is vomiting no more and is gaining weight incredibly well :) Thank you Urban Platter :)
