I try to avoid rack cases, but I needed a two-space rack with 19" rails and short depth, to make rear connections easier. This rack case fits my needs perfectly. Cost and weight are minimized using blow-molded construction and minimal metal parts. The covers are retained with the usual twist latches, with a nice variation. The latches are mounted on the front cover, so there aren't any floppy parts when the case is in use. The rear latches are attached to the case, as usual. The rear cover has a zipper compartment for cables and small stuff. The front cover has loops and a foam insert.

This is just the type of rack I needed for my new Soundcraft UI24R mixer/recorder. The plastic and metal is sturdy. Some added perks - (1) the storage compartments in the front and back lids and (2) the lids actually connect together when they are not in use. That's convenient so that the storage doesn't get out and loose. If I have one drawback it's that the zipper on one of the lids looks like it may not zip properly somewhere down the line. Besides that, I like it a lot so far.

Very good. The number and sizes of the given screws didn't match the directions. But the case is still very sturdy.

This is the 2nd one I purchased. Ir is rugged,lightweight and easy to carry. The case has storage in both sides of the lids. One side has foam inserts for your microphones and Velcro straps. The top is flat so you can put a laptop or projector on it. Very happy very pleased.

Bought this to build a video switching rig for our church. Be prepared that this is all in pieces and has to be fully assembled. I was very skeptical on the ruggedness of the case, but I have been very impressed as we are a mobile church and it goes back and forth with me each week. I really like the rugged handles and the locks on the side of the case that hold the front and the back on. The zipper pouch is also a really nice addition to this.

Great quality and features for the price. Better than expected. Haven’t tested it on the road yet. Seems like it will hold up well.

Build quality is ok, the side latches are flimsy and hard to close but otherwise works as advertised for light duty use.
