Great Ironing Board
I never thought I would be reviewing an ironing board. After buying a few different boards, I found this one to be the best. The double-wide legs help it stay steady, and yet easy to open and close. The spot to place a hot iron is fantastic and prevents burning the cover. Oh, and the cover has a nice softness without being too cushy to iron. So glad I found this board as I have tried so many different brands that were more expensive but not as good.

Sturdy, opens and closes smoothly, very nice.
We are really happy with this portable ironing board. We try to iron as little as possible, so we still had our old metal/fabric board from 30 years ago. This is a huge improvement, I included some photos of the construction sol you can see why. I'll give the run-down from the top down.Ironing surface is a smooth padded cloth, fits snugly over the board. Iron tray is nice and wide with three rubber strips to raise a hot iron off the shelf surface so it's not getting hot. The board substrate is a ribbed reinforced plastic with holes throughout for ventilation. Our old ironing board was a metal mesh so this seems to have less ventilation but I don't know whether that is better or worse. Probably depends on the fabric? See the third photo for the underside. The lever to adjust the legs has a textured plastic grip and a sturdy spring. The legs are sturdy with plastic foot covers. They are not super light but not overly heavy. Just sturdy enough to be fully welded between the foot tubes and the square bars. Those feet remind me of a folding table, very sturdy and feels less likely to tip over than our old board. All the materials and finishes are nice, charcoal and black. Two thumbs up, definitely happy with this ironing board. Wish I could show you the old board, what a major upgrade this new charcoal ironing board is. But that's not part of this review.

Lightweight board...
I really like my new ironing board. It's very lightweight and easy for an older person to maneuver. What even better is the beautiful fabric design that matches my home decor colors. I do wish the end that holds the iron was metal and not plastic. Even though it's heat resistant, something about plastic and heat don't jive in my mind. I also wish the bin that hold the iron was tilted (slanted). If it were this would be a five star item.

good features
This ironing board is very sturdy and has anti slip legs, so I don’t worry about the board moving when I am ironing many items at a time. I love that there are 7 different heights which is great for me as I have a bad back and sitting down while ironing is wonderful. One of the nicest features of this ironing board is the iron rest. With my old ironing board I had to use a towel to rest my iron on a nearby table, so this is really a nice feature. The cover has a foam polyester layer so the cover stays flat when you iron, which helps reduce wrinkles. Really great ironing board, very happy with it.

One hand operation
This is a very solid made ironing board that is easy to operate. Even with a broken arm, I can open and close this without any issues with just my one arm.. what’s open in the news it’s very stable. I do not have to try and balance it with one arm while I use it.The metal table area for the iron is very well done and it works very well. I have a rechargeable iron on the base on that metal area with no problems so that I can put the iron back on it to have it heat back up to continue using while ironing.Once folded up, the unit can be stood up against the wall and it will stay in place. I find this easier to do them to try and hang it up by its feet on a wall. That of course is because I just have one arm that I can use. This is a very nice well-made unit and I would recommend it

Way Overpriced
This ironing board works just like any other I’ve used before—it’s functional, sturdy, and the iron rest is convenient. The adjustable height is a nice touch, and the thick heat-resistant cover does make ironing a bit smoother. That said, the price is absolutely steep for what it is. It’s hard to justify paying this much when other boards offer similar features for way less. Yes, it’s decent quality, but in no way is it worth four to five times the cost of a standard ironing board. Unless you're really attached to the idea of premium features, I’d say shop around for something more reasonably priced.

Lightweight, easy to expand and store. Metal iron platform on one end
I needed to replace my 40 year old ironing board, and when this came up, I grabbed it. The board is smaller than my previous one and it has a suspended metal tray on the wide end for the iron to sit on. This tray is, unfortunately not removable so it causes an issue. I always used the large, flat side of the board when ironing shirts. With the tray attached, the large end of the board is blocked and cannot be used to wrap the top of the shirt so you have large expanses of flattened shirt. I have to work with this new board to see how I can accomplish the same. If I cannot, I will have to replace it again. I like the tray idea, but my previous board did not have one and I just stood the iron on it's base on the endo of the larger board. If this were removable (for shirts and the like) this board would be a lot better FOR ME. Make it so it is removeable or can be folded under and this is a 5 star board. Makes no sense to cover one of the ends of the board.

Excellent!
I had been reduced over the past few years to ironing on a towel on my bed or the top of the dryer since my ironing board's leg broke almost 15 years ago. It was the standard ironing board: not too sturdy, an ugly cover, only one height position, and it weighed a ton.The APEXCHASER ironing board is a big improvement. It's much lighter in weight. Its height can be adjusted so it's comfortable to use by everyone from my tiny mom to my very tall hubs and boy (and, of course, by me, right in the middle between those height extremes). The iron rest is particularly ingenious. The really pretty cover won't soon be scorched. It folds up flatter than I remember my old ironing board folding, but I plan to hang it on the back of the utility room door with two metal wreath hanger things, so that's even better.I recommend this ironing board, for sure.
