Makes perfect sized waffles. Even heat and very sturdy. This one is well worth the price and most affordable on the market. I doubt those of double the price are any better than this one. Hint... If your expecting crispy waffles you won't get it with a non-stick coating unless you use the correct recipe. Put Amaretto liquor in the batter, plenty of sugar, some corn starch softed into the flour, buttermilk, melted butter and separate "room temperature" eggs and whip the whites into a marang and fold into batter. Oh, and yes....use about half a pack of yeast!!!! Make sure the heat is about 450° before you add the batter.

I really wanted to love this waffle iron, but what sets it back is that the griddles are not removable, which makes it more difficult to clean. For that reason i can only give 3 stars. Other than that, it's a great is waffle iron.

I chose the waffle maker. The pancakes looked cute, but I don't have the patience to fill up all those indentations! haha. The waffle maker is beautiful - like what you would see if you stay at a hotel that offers self-serve breakfast. I am hopeful the quality is as good at what they use and theirs see much more activity than mine will. The plates are non-stick for easy removal of the waffle, and it came with a few little tools that are a little bit cheapo, but a nice thought. I liked it so much I kept this one and gave my old one to my son who just moved into his own home. So now we are both thrilled! And did I mention we make our own maple syrup? Yummmmmmm! Price seem comparable to other rotating waffle makers, but this one just seems beefier.
