Thrustmaster GPX Controller | Gaming Controller/Gamepad | PC/Xbox 360

It is superior to the xbox 360 controller in every way.The only point of debate will be the shape. In my opinion I like the shape of this controller better, however, my friend who is more used to the 360 official controller found that he disliked the shape and how he had to change the grip ever so slightly.The analog sticks are definitely more sensitive than the 360's. The dpad is less mushy (and therefore better) than the 360's. But it is harder to press down initially. After a month of usage, the dpad became more acceptable. The rumble is more powerful than the 360's as well.Overall, if you can't find the xbox 360 controller for cheaper than what this is priced at, get it. You wont regret it. If they are priced the same then go for whatever you are comfortable with.

Has good build quality but the thumbsticks are not as accurate as my Xbox controller. Definitely would recommend you get the Xbox 360/One controller rather than this if you can afford it.

i would say that it is much superior to the disgusting xbox and xbox one controllers (I have both)....the reaction time of both these controllers are silly to the point of irritation....there is easily more than 1/4 of a seconds lag in between our input on the controller and its effect on the screen (especially in racing games).....So far i have used 3 xbox controllers and 3 xbox one controllers.....and ALL were the same (so there is no excuse that it could have been defective piece)..the reason i am writing more about the xbox and xbox one controllers are because it is hyped.....and compared to that the Thrustmaster is far far superior in feedback as well as in precision.....Also please remember that thrustmaster makes racing wheels which are similarly superior to the much hyped logitech series......Then there is the price factor...it is nearly two-three thousand INR cheaper than the xbox one (depending on whether you are buying it with or without the micro usb cable).

I would call it a first copy of Xbox controller works fineOn most AAA game & yes it does work on win 10 & it will either detect it directly or will download drivers automatically once u plugged in no need of a cd

Who the hell will provide us with an installation CD within the package for us to install the drivers. Dissapointed at 300%. You ought to be careful with the demands of the public.

It has been a year since I’ve purchased this controller, and I like it more than the original xbox 360 controller. It’s analog sticks and triggers are very precise. I use it to play with my xbox 360. And I play with it everyday, it doesn’t have any problems. I am very satisfied with this product.

I bought the same controller 4 years ago and my gaming experience has been awesome... Sadly analog sticks stopped working... Finally bought new one :D Game on!!!On left is my old Thrustmaster On right The new one

Premessa:Necessitavo l'acquisto perché da qualche tempo gli stick del mio vecchio pad originale xbox360 hanno iniziato a perdere colpi, per cui ho cercato un valido sostituto che fosse in grado di replicarne la buona qualità.Prima di comprare questo GPX ho provato diversi pad "fotocopia" di quello originale xbox360.Seppur tutti praticamente identici all'originale, nessuno mi soddisfaceva: c'era quello che aveva dei grilletti buoni ma gli stick con una zona mota del 30%(!!!), c'era quello che aveva gli stick buoni ma i grilletti dannatamente morbidi non progressivi e di qualità cheap, c'era quello con la vibrazione debolissima seppur tirata al massimo dalle impostazioni di gioco, etc..Alla fine, provato dalla disperazione nel non riuscire a trovare un pad decente, ho comprato questo GPX e ne sono rimasto piacevolmente sorpreso.E vero, non ha la stessa ergonomia del pad originale (è più snello) ma ha dei grilletti a dir poco fantastici, gli stick hanno una qualità veramente buona e la definizione pure, i tasti si raggiungono facilmente e hanno un ottimo feedback, pure la vibrazione è molto buona.Solo una cosa stona: i tasti LB e RB danno un senso di cheap perché sono gli unici che alla pressione emettono un fastidioso "clack!" e il feedback è appena sufficiente.Sorvolando questa piccola stonatura il pad, per quanto mi riguarda, è promosso a pieni voti e consigliato a chi (come me) ne cerca uno alternativo all'originale della 360.

A good well made gamepad. Offers enhanced digital resolution which gives increased control over throttle speeds etc, when controlling a car rally/racing sim. So much better than cheap generics that are not robust enough for long term use.

I purchased this controller to use on Windows 10, it's detected just fine and has worked in every game I've tried it in. I've been using it for 3 weeks or about 80 hours of gaming. Out of the box the controller looked good, had a respectable weight to it; did not feel "cheap" in any way. The shoulder buttons ( LB / RB ) are responsive and feel durable and the triggers ( LT / RT ) have more resistance in them to accommodate racing games. I have played 10 hours of DiRT Rally with this controller and the ability to more precisely feather the throttle with the trigger buttons has been a huge advantage vs Xbox 360/One controllers. I haven't had much problem using the triggers in other trigger-heavy games, but I did notice some slight discomfort in my index fingers over long gaming sessions in games which rapidly pressing the trigger buttons was necessary. The joysticks are fluid and comfortable and the joystick buttons have the perfect amount of 'clickiness' to them. Ergonomically, it's not the most comfy controller to use over long periods of time but the finish does feel nice in the palms and does not encourage sweating.Where the Thrustmaster GPX hits a snag with me is the d-pad. I bought this controller with games like Dark Souls and Biohazard Revelations 2 in mind, where using the d-pad to quickly change weapons is a part of life. A wrongly chosen weapon/spell/ability in a crucial moment can cost you the game, especially in PvP situations. This has always been a problem with 360 controllers but something which has since been addressed by the magnificent Xbox One controller d-pad. The GPX's d-pad looks great in the pictures, and indeed did function well at first (despite being way too large), however after 2 weeks of heavy gameplay I started to notice I was getting some false-positives in my d-pad presses: 'up' going to 'left' instead, 'right' going to 'down' instead, or rapidly shifting in between any two directions from only one button press. This only got worse over the following week to the point of it being unplayable in any game which requires precise d-pad movement.Overall it's a decent budget controller from a good brand that'll get the job done. It's not as comfortable as a 360/One controller but the increased trigger resistance make it worth keeping around for racing games if you don't yet have a wheel setup. As a primary controller however, I cannot recommend it because of it's shoddy d-pad. I would strongly recommend putting the extra money towards an Xbox One (Newest) wireless controller if you intend to play any d-pad heavy game.

Normalmente, al ver este tipo de controles, solemos ser bastante escépticos, y solemos pensar que "como el original no hay ninguno".Este mando es la prueba de que no tiene por que ser así siempre. El mando es cómodo, funciona bien, los joysticks son muy precisos, y en general, da una buena sensación a la mano. Te puede gustar más o menos, pero eso no quita que sea un mando de calidad, y una buena alternativa al original.Funciona tanto en X360 y en PC sin tener que configurar nada, Plug & Play. Lo único achacable, es que comparado con el original, la cruceta y los gatillos son más duros, pero te puedes acostumbrar enseguida.
