Good handy book for teaching fundamentals. Content is very focused and no material puzzles or exercises. A good first book, but not useful if you already know chess and key basics.Not necessarily engaging for really young kids, but good for 8+. Quality of book and pages itself is very good.

Multiple puzzles for every characters, good start for children, Obviously parent have to make them understand, if ur child is 6.

An amazing book for kids. My son simply loves it. Ever since I have bought him this book I always find him with his chess board and the book.

The book has amazing print, well-built quality and attractive imagery which will be liked by children. However, the content is very basic and offers nothing exceptional. It only talks about basic moves and few attacking & defence strategies.

Easy to follow, with small chess challenges and lots of pictures. My 5 year old girl absolutely loved it.

The book is just like a thin magazine for complete novice. Someone who doesn't even know what a pawn or a rook is can learn to recognise pieces from this book. Not at all worth the price. Very basic. My kid who is just beginning to learn chess since last one week also finds this book basic with no actual information.

Very basic. For absolute beginners. Costly for what it offers.

Fabulous book! Very easy for my 7year old grandson to understand.

Purchased for my 7yr old grandson, I've learned a lot, and he can beat me (I was no competitive player). It's a really great starting point, and east to understand for all ages!
