This ice maker is perfect. It's not too large like most stand-alone makers but far better than the tiny little countertop models you have to constantly fill with water and empty the ice tray every 20min. This connects right to a water supply line and cones with a filter. We have ours connected to a 5 stage filtration unit and the ice tastes great. For the same price as some of those tiny countertop units this machine makes up to 70lbs of ice a day. No filling a water tray constantly. We have the drain hose running out a window with a cheesecloth fikter on the end to keep anything feom entering the hose but you can easily have it drain into a milk jug on the floor, into your sink, pretty much anywhere. It can hold about 10lbs of ice inside. Unlike the famed nugget ice this ice is solid and lasts much longer. It also works great to bag it up and throw it in the freezer, where nugget ice just turns into a solid block of ice. We use 5lb bags and I keep at least 4 on hand in our stand-up freezer. After having 2 of the smaller ones (bullet and nugget) i'm glad we decided on this unit. It's still small enough to fit on a countertop, we placed ours on top of our water cooler.

Ice maker damaged and missing a lot of parts. I had obviously been opened and returned once before.- Returning. Pictures are from the first unit NOT the second one we bought. UPDATE: We returned the first one and bought a second one. This unit was unopened and as described. It makes great ice and was easy to install. This unit needs a drain so make sure and plan accordingly. UPDATE: Second Ice maker was delivered May 2, 2025. I installed it on May 3rd, 2025. Today is May 20th, 2025 and it is still making ice but very very slowly. It started out working great and would keep the tray full of ice but now after the last 24 hours the tray is still not full. It is less than half full with zero usage taken from it over night. Now the $300.00 coupon has expired and we cannot get a third one. Why is it so hard to buy an ice maker for home use that last longer than two weeks? UPDATE: 5-22-2025 . So I was allowed to exchange the second unit for a THIRD unit. It is installed and making ice. Will update if needed. UPDATE: 5-24-2025. Had a full try of ice this morning. Seems to be working OK. It is not to noisy when making ice as the second unit was during its short lifespan. Will update again. UPDATE: 6-30-25. OK This machine is making nugget ice and it is keeping up with our needs (family of 4), we do not use the bottom try since the top try fills up really fast. But this thing is NOISY. I cannot tell you how loud this this machine is when it is running making ice. Luckily its home is in our large pantry but we have to close the door due to the noise. Why cant someone make an ice maker that actually works like they say it will and not be a complete nuisance.

The machine is great if you know how to set it up. It has a gravity drain that comes out of the back, it is meant to drain into a floor drain, but I did not have that. What you need is a condensate pump that can hook up to that drain, and run automatically when water comes in to that drain, you can buy these in hardware stores or on Amazon. This will allow the drained fluid to pump upwards to your sink drain. To address other bad reviews: Yes the ice melts, this is not a freezer but more like a cooler, the melted ice is supposed to drain out. If you don't have a drain pump or cant set one up, move the ice try an inch from the back of the machine so it doesnt drain the water from the tray, there is a button on the back that drains the water in the tray so dont let that button get pressed. Then just occasionally dump out the water in your sink.

Loud and does not keep ice cold. Have to remove. I turn it on just to make ice then have to bag it. It’s not a freezer so if any ice cubes stay it becomes water and can mold so I have to use a towel to dry it out everytime. Light stopped working in 1 month

What a great company. I was having an issue with my ice maker. Their customer service was top-notch in helping me troubleshoot the problem. They sent a replacement part, but it didn't help, so they replaced the entire unit, free of charge. I highly recommend this company.

Arrived in good condition and works as it should, I wish is would have purchased a different style. The opening is cumbersum to work thru, the cover doesnt go all the way back into the machine. A swinging door would have worked better for me

So far so good Except after pump went out after 6 months Showed E2 code , so bought a replacement pump on Amazon part no.AP1200 Very simple fix

Bought this in Oct 2024. It was installed June of 2025. We had our backyard redone but wanted it to have the correct sizing. Starting making extremely loud noises like pump was running with no water. it finally just shut down. Would not turn on. Reached out to support. 6 emails later, sorry, no exchange, its past the 1 year and Thank you for your reply. We truly regret that the product did not meet your expectations for durability, and we understand that this has left you feeling let down. We will share your experience with our product team for future improvement. Paid $1200 for this ice maker to only last 1 year. Guess maybe why its best to buy a brand name.
