Great tools
After having had a chance to use these rulers for a little while , I am very happy with them for my purposes . The slide bar is double lockable in order to keep it at ninety degrees to the ruler while in use . This permits the ruler to slide along the edge of a work piece at a set distance from the edge of the piece for its length thereby making it possible to lay out a straight line parallel to the edge quickly and easily . This facilitates the carving of the piece I do within the borders of the design being applied to the face of the piece . The scale shown on both sides of the ruler appear to be accurate . They allow consistent measuring and setting the distance from the edge of the piece to the location of marking on the piece , which facilitates repeatability of marking on each side of a piece . The little ( V ) located at the tip of the ruler is meant to permit insertion of the tip of a marking pencil . This helps to keep it in consistent contact with the work surface of the piece and a consistent distance from the edge of the work piece when the ruler is drug along its edge while marking . My only complaint about the ( V ) is that it could be a little deeper to more easily facilitate the larger lead diameters of some drafting pencils .I really like the 90 degree ruler too . It eliminates marking errors while marking around the corner of a flat piece down the thickness of the piece , something not as easily done with a simple ruler .In general , I would recommend both these rulers for those woodworkers who still do a lot of their work the old fashion way by actually measuring what they do rather than having an automated machine do it for them .

Well made
I use them often

Not as shown in photos
I ordered the metric and the marking square is inch. Also annoying that the rulers don't have metric on both

Nice build quality
I like the double locking thumbscrews, once a measurement is locked into place it holds well. The threads were a bit rough on the set that I got, but that's the case with a lot of off-the-shelf aluminum parts and a little metal lube (I use CLP) smoothed them right out. These will definitely be frequently used in my shop.A bit pricey and the three different sizes was probably a bit superfluous, going with just one might be a decent way to shave some of the cost off of this purchase.

Very loose fitting.
Challenging to use. They are so loose both hands must be used when setting measurements. Maybe itās just me but Iāll not order this brand again. Itās just the price was right. I have NOT checked them for accuracy though. They do compare, accuracy wise, to my Stanley measuring tape.

Pretty but pretty useless
I was eager to examine the Saysurey 4 Pcs Carpenter Ruler set because nearly identical products seem to have flooded both the market and Youtube. But this product is a big disappointment. The right angle rule is very useful - that's why I already have one and use it all the time. This version is nothing exceptional but it works for scribing a square line from one work face to another at 90 degrees. The straight rulers with slides have me stumped. They are beautifully made - milled, anodized, engraved - but to no useful end. As rulers they are much too thick to transfer measurements accurately; paralax inhibits accuracy every time (see photo). As width gauges with the sliding cars, these rulers are superfluous when any ordinary try square can do the same, not to mention all sorts of elegant special purpose width marking gauges. So I don't see the point. I don't even know what to do with this set other than donate the lot to a primary school teacher. I say don't wast even this small sum of money. Use what you have.---------------------Sharing is life's greatest joy
