I was surprised to see that these toe protectors have a heavily padded end, to protect from blisters on toe tips. I've never had one there, but it definitely is possible to get a cut there. My 2nd surprise was to see that all 6 are the same size. I don't know about you but my big toe is a lot bigger than my pinkie toe. I tried on both, and they fit a big snug on my big toe, too long on my pinkie toe, and just right on the middle 3. I wear a women's size 7-7.5. I mostly own the kind that go over the toe and leave the end open, so having this set too will be useful for specific circumstances.

These toe caps help to protect your toes from blisters. They cover most of the toe, but the thickest part or "cap" is at the end so it only really helps for the ends of your toes. At first they can be uncomfortable to wear but if you wear them for a while they are fine. The material of the cap is pretty thick which aids in protecting your toe. Overall, this should help to protect your toes from any situations when there is a lot of pressure or friction on them.

Comfortable and Stayed in Place on a HikeI received these Toe Protectors in size Small in Beige.My shoe size is Woman’s size 8. Even though these are offered in several sizes, the size S was able to fit all my toes because the toe protectors stretch. The more stretched out they are, however, the less padding they will offer. If I needed more cushioning for my big toe, I would try the next size.I took one toe protector and trimmed the length of it so it would fit my pinkie toe. The toe protectors are easy to trim with scissors; it took one snip.I used another toe protector on my big toe, without trimming. At first I felt mild compression on my big toe, but the compressive feeling went away after a minute.I wore these with socks and hiking boots and did a 4-mile hike in humid hot weather. During the hike, I didn’t feel the protectors on my toes at all. After the hike, the protectors were still in place and hadn’t shifted.These are washable (I would assume hand wash with soap and water) and reusable. It is super easy to flip them inside-out so that you can wash the inside.PROS:* Comfortable* Stretch to Fit* Stay in Place* Washable and Reusable* Didn’t cause any irritationCONS:* Not breathable, so I wouldn’t wear these for an extended time.I would recommend giving these a try if you have something like an ingrown toenail or a blister, or to prevent a blister from forming.

These little protectors are designed to cushion and protect toes from friction and pressure, often used by those suffering from blisters.I went to Disney and had the biggest blister of my life and got every form of protector on the market for next time. I won't be using these.These particular protectors are uniquely shaped. The inclusion of little caps on these protectors might seem unusual, and in practice it might help if your blister was on the VERY end of your toe. That's the only use case.I found them too tight, too uncomfortable, and too insulated (making for hot enclosed toes). I much prefer either the open circle of silicone, or my favorite is a cushy rectangular pad of silicone that you just wedge between toes.If you hurt only the end of your toe, these could be a good fit for that limited use case.

My daughter had blisters on the bottom of her big toe while she was at gymnastics summer camp. She goes barefoot most of the day there, and bandaids don't work that great on big toes for an active child. These were good for helping to cushion and protect the toe. They were easy for her to put on. They stayed on for awhile. She eventually took them off part way thru the day because they bugged her. I like that they are reusable so less waste. Probably not something that'll get used all the time, but nice to have in certain situations.

I was surprised at the size of these toe caps but despite looking enormous, they fit pretty well. If you have shorter toes you may need to cut the bottom for them to fit better, but as they are silicone that is very easy to do.The fit was comfortable and unnoticeable in most shoes - the silicone material squishes very well and allows the toes to compress together in snug shoes. I don't particularly feel that the protection for an ingrown tonail is effective - it doesn't prevent the ingrown nail from becoming worse. For preventing friction and protecting blisters or cuts these are great.
