I wear it around the house
It makes you sweat. I wear it at the gym, when I'm doing hard work and while I'm shopping. It hides my muffin top.

Control Top for Sure! Medium Size Purchased
So far it has done great! My size:I am 5'5" roughly 165lbs, I mostly wear mediums for women's ware and smalls in guys basic t-shirts, I am a size 10 dress and jacket sizes. I have a slight stomach but not excessive due to activity. When able, I will add a photo to this review. The Fit:I bought a Medium and it was tight at first, the Medium started off tight but is now loosen up, could be because I am wearing this for daily use? I should have bought two of these to rotate and I think I will. For the Size, I may change it next time to a small, seeing this does stretch after awhile and I can feel the fabric of the core area not being as tight. Despite the stretch, I'd like to say this has not restricted my breathing like I thought it would be or hard to bend in, it is very movable. It looks good under my clothing but I don't wear excessively tight, tight shirts, otherwise, I think it would show through, so far I wear something that hugs slightly to test and you could hardly see the zipper. I think if I were to ware tighter like a dress, depending on the fabric might show through. So far, for t-shirts, long sleeves, etc. it hasn't.The only con is I guess I didn't pull it down tightly enough by the end of the day the other day, so this didn't happen right away but from not pulling it down taut it rubbed a little into my upper side near my bra line and it still hurts a little. So, make sure to keep it pulled down tight or this will become a con and stopping and rubbing into your side, plus, you could cause rolls into the fabric that looks weird. As for why I am wearing for daily use, it is because my job can be active being in Media Production, so, I am trying to take advantage of this.Posture and Pain Relief:The back straps don't help with posture like I thought they would, however, having your core under control does help with posture and knew this going into this product. I have seen a relief in my back/neck pain in wearing this. Some of my close friends have seen a difference in my gate as well. So, I would recommend this in that aspect alone.Sweating it out:I don't really sweat (due to being part Asian) so I have only felt this aspect at a very small portion, you'll have to take the other review on this aspect. I will say my core does retain more heat wearing though, it has been nice especially during the winter.I have to try a smaller size I think, I'll add more to this review or a new one for this small size.

Runs very large
Considering this is tagged for women I would expect it to run true to traditional women’s sizing. My normal weight runs between 115-118lbs and I wear a 4-6, size xs-m shirt/top depending on how fitted it is. Even at my smallest it’s not uncommon for me to need a M in a more fitted style because I have broader shoulders and a shorter waist area. Luckily my hips are narrow and my legs long and lean but carrying any weight around one’s waist is a health risk not to mention an impediment in one’s appearance.Unfortunately during the quarantine my weight hit 125 pounds and the gain was all in my mid section most notably in my waist and lower back. At the time of ordering this vest I would say my waist was the equivalent to a size 8. I ordered the size M in the vest and it’s not even snug. I have another waist trainer that is for the mid section only but it is long enough to cover the lower back which is where I tend to add inches when I gain weight. It is Velcro so I can adjust it and also place it higher or lower. However it’s about 10 years old and losing it’s shape. I like the style of this vest because it covers a lot of territory and is light enough to wear during any workout be it yoga, Pilates, elliptical, walking, running or even weight training. The vest seems well constructed with a durable zipper. After waiting a week to get it despite being a Prime member I was so frustrated when it ended up being too big. I put it on over a light weight sweatshirt while I read a book thinking it my tighten up once I relaxed but unfortunately it didn’t. I know it’s returnable but I didn’t think it was worth trying a workout considering it was loose and would just get looser as I lost the newly gained inches. I want the item to fit tightly to remind me I need to focus on getting the weight off and watch my caloric intake. For the record I am 5’4” and the vest hit mid hip on me.I know vanity sizing is common when it comes to clothes but when it comes to exercise equipment I prefer things to be accurately sized and labeled. I will request an exchange and hopefully they will expedite getting me the smaller size.As far as everything else goes, I do recommend the vest but encourage anyone to size down or even order two sizes and return the one that doesn’t fit.
