Nihoe Women's Sexy Shiny Mermaid Shorts

Beautiful color in person. Light material that is see-through when held up to the light, but I don't see it being an issue unless you were to wear white underwear. Bought a S in the multicolor, and M in red. The waist bands were indistinguishable in size, though the M maybe had more stretch to the waistband and the leg openings were a little wider. I'm 5'4'', 115lbs, 27 inch waist, and 36 inch hips, and the S fit really well. I'm returning the M because the larger leg openings make the shorts ride up too much. Pictures show comparison in waistband size and leg openings.

Cute. A bit cheeky. Lol material is similar to swimsuit/Halloween costume. I'm not sure I would wear them out in public unless I was at the beach, but I am shy and like to be covered up. I got the small. My waist is ~24.5". I have a very short torso and these come just above my belly button. The come up higher in the back, but I think that's just because of how I'm built. Important to note that it has a center seam, which can cause some..ahem..riding up in the front. I also bought a skirt in the same material, so I will probably wear the shorts underneath. :)Edit to add: I'm about 5' 1" and all leg :P

I purchased these in green for a roller derby bout and they held up without recording a trace of my falls or slides on the ground.Holding them up to a light they are slightly transparent but when I wore them they were opaque.Shorts stayed in place and wedgie free.The XL fit almost loose and I could have worn the large. I wear size 8/10, 170lbs, 5'7" and 31" waist.

I purchased these for a week-long festival (although only ended up wearing them maybe ~5 hours total).Pros: They're a pretty color, and a popular pattern - I found a matching top from a completely separate vendor. They also fit fine (although I did size up because I didn't want awkward bunching and rolls).Cons: Some of the color and print wore off just in the time that I wore them. Additionally, they bleed like crazy when washed - I hand-washed them in my bathroom sink and dried them over the shower curtain rod. I have teal stains on my shower curtain from water dripping off them.Overall, I wouldn't buy a replacement pair, but they served the purpose I needed, and I'm holding onto them for future costumes.

I originally bought these for a specific costume in gymnastics, but have since started wearing them to hot yoga. They come up a little higher over the waist, which I find more comfortable, but you will have some booty on display. I found these to be a little thinner than I expected, but I like the option to add another layer underneath if needed. They aren't "see through" exactly, but I don't risk it. I'm 150 pounds, 6' 7", and the medium fit perfectly (but I also like my yoga shorts to be relatively skin tight). I get tons of compliments which is nice because you never know if they're complimenting your shorts or what's in the shorts ;)

First of all, size up! I'm 130 and 5'6" with an average build. Normally I wear either a 4 or 6 in pants, and a large in these proved to be perfect. They do have a sheer quality before you put them on, but if you can't see my blinding white skin then everyone else should be safe. I was pleasantly surprised that these cover my whole butt and gave some length past the crotch. Basically these are exactly what I was looking for to take to music festivals with me. Highly recommend

After reading some of the other reviews I was a bit concerned that these would be more like hip huggers. However I received these yesterday and tried them on, they fit perfectly. I am 5’3 and weigh about 125 pounds. I purchased the peacock color in a size medium, they are not too tight and come up to just below my belly button. They are a bit on the shorter side, no butt cheeks hanging out but definitely not the most conservative shorts. The color is a really pretty turquoise /aqua and pretty sparkly. I bought these for a music festival that is coming up over Halloween weekend, you can probably guess my costume will be mermaid themed. I am pretty happy with this purchase and would recommend to others, just make sure you pay attention to the sizing chart

OBSESSEDDD!!! Oh my gosh they are so soft and so comfy!! They are a nice high mid waist!!! I was so worried that they were going to have too tight of a waistband and make a dent on my hip and make me look fat but they actually made me look super skinny and they are not too tight and don’t make your butt look flat or have anything with your legs!! I am 5/5 and about 119lb and I feel that they fit me perfectly and Comfortably! Very very soft fabric and nice and breathable I would love to even just lounge in them!! Much higher quality than I had expected!! I wore these for a mermaid costume and I won the costume contest hopefully they bring you just as great of luck as they brought me!! These are amazing and very stretchy I am a dancer and I am extremely flexible and these definitely move with me well!!!! Also the shimmer and sparkle on them is high-quality and doesn’t just rub off in one night like so many others! They are unique soft comfortable fun and really a great blank canvas for any costume or if you’re just lounging around or dancing!!
