My Modella pump kicked the bucket and after much research and a recommendation from a lactation consultant at the hospital I decided to get the Spectra S1 premier rechargeable. I have had no regrets. I had to get used to the pump and it's functions but it was a smart choice. I love that is has a light for those night feedings. I turn it on so I can latch my baby without waking my husband. My baby was a preemie so we had to do tripple feedings (breastfeed then bottle feed with pumped milk then pump) when I first started pumping it was about 20 minutes to get 2 let downs if I was lucky. Now sometimes I can get 3 by 10 to 15 min. (2-3/5/9-10/12-15 minuets) between driving to see family and going back to work I love being able to get out the pump and start pumping and not waiting for an electrical outlet. If I need to get something while pumping I have the ability to take the pump with me instead of stopping or being stuck in one spot until I'm done.

The pump is a solid spectra pump and came with everything described. It is nice that you can recharge it and it does hold the charge really well. My issue is with the pump itself- it’s not really portable because it’s heavy. Like, you can move it from room to room, but it isn’t something you can wear and walk around your entire house with. It’s just too heavy in my opinion.

My wife absolutely loves this breast pump. It has been a huge relief for her to have this when she needs to pump. Highly recommended.

Breastfeeding came to a halt unexpectedly when she had a lot of problems with her tummy. So I had to start pumping w my manual Medela for about 2 months until things eased up expense wise and I ended up trying out a few different electric ones that were said to be the best (even tried a few hand free) they got the job don’t but painfully with slow pulls. HORRIBLE. Hoping I could get one my doula found me one a mom was selling for cheap and it died on me after a little while. So I got this one BECAUSE I love it so much!!! I considered getting the one without extra parts but this one covers it all and extra. The pump is as close to breastfeeding as it gets for a pump. Very gentle and quick but has a good suction.I don’t recommend using off brand flanges btw bc they tend to not be great so it’s awesome that hey have extra of the 24mm. You think they’re great for a while but then your milk supply lowers by a little bit till you notice the problem
