This vegetable spiral slices is a must have for anyone that loves to cook. This has been on my “want” list since I first saw them. The main reason I wanted this slicer, was to use with cucumbers. There is an Asian Cucumber Salad that I just love but could never cut the cucumbers just right. I received this product at a discount in exchange for an unbiased, honest review and now I can make that salad and loads of other recipes as defined in the recipe book that is enclosed. Included with this spiral slicer is a cleaning brush and a vegetable peeler.

Came broken. Was missing a piece and had broken pieces missing from the blade. Looked like it was a return.

The peeler that came with it is sturdy and easy to use. The spiral slicer itself works fine - it produced two sizes of narrow "noodles" of the vegetables used. I tried it with carrots, zucchini and potatoes. This item is very sharp and the brush is the best way to clean it. The main concern is that the lid included I thought was to help hold the vegetables, but it is not very secure and it was difficult to feed the vegetables through by hand due to how they become slippery and there was some waste. Overall, the noodles produced were good. I just would like a better hold for the vegetables and maybe more flexibility in size of the noodles and gives another way to help get in your daily vegetables.

I bought this product with the idea of using vegetables as a pasta substitute. I haven't tried that yet, but I did make a salad with it. After trying it, I let my daughter finish up. I love that the cap attaches to the veggie to prevent cuts. We used it on carrots and a cucumber. My daughter has never liked cucumbers, but she still ate all her salad because she helped make it. The spirals looked appealing and were so easy to make. The peeler was nice and sturdy, and the brush made cleanup so easy. This will come in handy, and I'm looking forward to trying vegetables as a pasta substitute, as well as several of the dishes in the little recipe booklet that was included. This tool makes eating veggies fun and more visually appealing. I gladly accepted a discount on this product in exchange for testing and an honest review.

Easy to use and easy to clean. The slicer was easy to use, much easier than other slicers I have used. The products come packaged in a great foam lined formed box. The spiralizer works pretty well, and the included brush is really good for cleaning the sharp blades. it does well at making zoodles, but does mangle some of the vegetable.
