Very nice knife
The fixed blade knife by AOSILEY, is very nice. The balance is good, the weight is is nice too, it feels sturdy in your hand. The blade is very sharp with a clean edge. The biggest con on this knife is the sheathe. It is lack luster and feels very flimsy. I'm actually worried the knife would cut right through it trying to put it back. But sheathes are easy to find from any good tack store and for the price of the knife, it's worth it.

Wonderful knife
Got this knife to take to our camping trip, used it to cut some stuff that we needed (sticks for the marshmallows, food, some robes etc) the sharpness is great, it’s well made, looks good and would be great for gifting too. Another thing that I like about it the size of it. Very functional.

Solid fixed blade, great look. Great price!
This knife is well made. I love the eye at the back for lanyard attachment. It is very well balanced and feels comfortable in the hand. The leather sheath is on the lighter side but functions as it should. The only issue I had was that the knife was so sharp that I almost cut off the securing strap butting the knife back in the sheath. $10 for a full tang knife that fits this comfortable in the hand of a full grown man is a steal.

Good Value...
5Cr13MoV is one kind chromoly steel. Chromoly is a low-alloy steel, not a stainless steel. The amount of chromium is not high enough to achieve the same level of corrosion resistance as stainless steel. It is however fine for use as material for kitchen knives or pocket knives. This is not a Pocket-sized knife unless you are Paul Bunyan. It is a too heavy and rather large to be placed in one’s pocket. The picture depicts that it is 9 7/8 in. long. It is about 8 3/8 in. I measured the thickness of this blade at various spots. It appears that the steel blank that made this blade is 4.00mm. The blank was just ground down and shaped to its present configuration. When I measured across the blade and it measured slightly above 4.00mm while spot reading all over is abut 3.90mm. It appears that this knife blade is not completely flat and might have a slight curve across the flats. This is a fixed blade knife with full tang which is quite strong. This would be a great knife for outdoors. It should able to stand a beating.Running my thumb over the handle, I could feel the rivets protruding above the wood. It could mean that the wood used on the handle was not dried enough and it continue to dry after installation. Over grinding and polishing the handle after installation of the wooden handle could also contributed to this condition. I could also feel the tang sticking out slightly along the edge of the handle. I do think there is some shrinking of the wood. The Leather on the Leather Sheath is on the thin side. Time will tell how long this sheath would last.I have a few blades at about the same length. Couple of them are folding knives and another one is a kitchen knife. This one will be a good choice to bring along when doing outdoor activities. Great value.Footnote: -I recently purchased a Victorinox Swiss army knife Classic SD Precious Alox while travelling. I have 2 similar ones but I was attracted by the looks of this one. It was expensive as I paid about $54.00 for this tiny knife. The only reason that I mention this is to show the value of this Fixed Blade Knife.

Good looking blade!
This is a sharp, good looking knife. The finish of the blade is a semi matt or brushed finish, while the tang edge and bolsters are polished. Very nice combination. No blemishes. Edge is very sharp and uniform. The rosewood handle is smooth but not slippery and is slightly smaller than the overall tang size. Also very attractive. 1 very small indent shown in picture 5. The handle is fixed tight with no movement, and fits the hand very well. The leather sheath is made well and loose enough to pull the knife quickly and easily. I like the design and feel of this knife. The balancing point is as shown in picture 8. I'll have to see how it is as a throwing knife (at a cork board). The material used for the blade, 5CR15MOV, is an inexpensive stainless steel grade from China. Normally can be hardened to a max of 54Rc. This doesn't mean it's a bad knife, but it would normally be used for food prep or light work. This material would not normally be recommended for EDC or camping, but the size and shape of this knife may be an exception. The blade is 3/16" at it's thickest points and 1-1/2" wide which makes it pretty sturdy. Due to the make-up of the material you may have to sharpen more often versus a more expensive material. I do give this knife 5 stars because it is made well, attractive, and for the price, you can't beat it. I recommend!

nice
This is a pretty decent knife. It did need a little sharpening when I got it, but that was expected. I mean, it was sharp enough to cut, but not quite sharp enough. It has a good weight to it and feels good in the hand. It doesn't roll when you are cutting, either. The leather sheath is a bit cheap, so I don't expect it to hold up for years to come, but it will do for now.

A comfortable grip helps with tougher tasks.
I go through a lot of different blades when I go out camping. I tend to gift them away to some of the boyscouts I know, and I get new ones to try. This one excelled in a very particular part, chopping with it doesnt have too many hotspots in the handle. The handle is big enough to be comfortable, but small enough to not be unwieldly. The blade was good, and handled most of my needs during the weekend, and overall, it survived. I didnt do any SUPER destructive tests, I just used it as intended and it worked out just fine. Overall, I'm quite satisifed.
