Functional and beautiful
This looks so pretty especially on its stand. It works like a dream. It's nice and heavy and it rolls nicely. Not much will stick because it's made of marble. Great addition to my baking supplies. I would recommend this and feel like it was a great value. Sturdy and well made.

Non-stick & Less Effort
Wow! What a difference compared to my wooden pin! The heavier weight and non-stick properties of this marble pin make rolling pie crusts almost effortless. The holding tray is a classy touch so I've actually got this set on display in my kitchen. The only nit I'll pick is that the handle is a bit sloppy side-to-side. It's probably intentional to allow for cleaning, but I'd prefer about 1/2" less play to give better control and appearance. Otherwise, this pin is a treat to use and worth the added cost compared to wood (or plastic/silicone).

I love it!
Finally got one! I have always wanted a high-quality marble rolling pin. I've been using those wooden rolling pins for so long, I didn't know what I was missing until I got this! It does have some weight to it so if you struggle with severe arthritis or joint pain in your arms I would not recommend using this. However, if those things are not an issue and you Need a high-quality rolling pen, you've got to get this one. It is so pretty to even look at. Add a touch of marble elegance to the kitchen countertop space. The role is very smooth, the dough doesn't stick quite as badly as it does on the wooden pins. When I'm rolling this it just glides so smoothly. This is a really high-quality rolling pen, an excellent value for the cost.

Is it weird to want to leave your rolling pin on the counter?
I guess I took having a rolling pin in our kitchen for granted growing up, because I didn't realize how much they would cost or how often I might use one after I moved out of my parents' house. But boy am I beyond thrilled with this one. It's so pretty that I just want to leave it out on the counter as a decoration when it's not in use. And honestly, I probably will since it came with a little stand. It's nice and heavy, rolls smoothly and evenly. Basically everything I could ask for out of a rolling pin, plus a little extra with it looking so nice. I'm definitely going to be buying one for my mom as part of her Christmas gift this year to replace her wooden rolling pin that is, without a doubt, older than I am.

Plain Marble Rolling Pin
This is a nice marble rolling pin with wooden handles. It rolls well and has enough weight to handle all types of dough or even crush nuts and spices. It should stand up to years of use. My only "gripe" is that the marble has minimal veining and is not as gorgeous as the beautiful ones shown in the listing. It is still good-looking enough to display on my counter.

Beautiful, but with a sizeable gap between the handle and the pin.
I've been using only marble to roll out pastries for a while now, though I've never used a marble rolling pin with handles before. It arrives with the handles disassembled, and you need to insert a metal rod and screw each handle on. It only takes a minute. The pin rolls easily over the rod, and it's perfectly smooth surface does a great job at rolling out dough. It is a little bit harder to clean than the one piece pins, because it's possible for stuff to get into the hole in the center, or in the gaps between the marble and the wooden handles. It is not dishwasher safe.Because of the cleaning aspect, I'd only use it for times when I'm worried about my hands heating up my old handle-less marble rolling pin. It's still a lovely rolling pin, and you can stick it in the fridge/freezer to improve the rolling of cold doughs - but unless you absolutely need need need the handles, it might be better to get one without.
