We live in a desert climate with a wadi behind our house. Rattlesnakes are not uncommon. We have 2 small Yorkies and placing these balls along the edge of our property gives us peace of mind that we won’t have any unwelcomed visitors in our yard. You can put them on the ground or put them in the little bags to hang them. So far so good! No nasty critters.

Use these before and they seem to work. Only thing when placed in direct sun, they melt pretty quickly.
