This kit will remove condensation, mist or fog from double glazed sealed units (4 Windows)

My window is £800 to replace... it’s big! So I thought why not give this a try... here are my additional tips... drill the holes and let the window dry out.. you’ll need a few sunny days. Then add 20 or so of the calcium chloride pellets and seal the holes up immediately with the bungs... again on a sunny dry day (no humidity)... also check that water is not trapped in the frame, under the bottom of the pane... I drilled a few small holes and let it drain out... my window has started to fog up again after 4 months but I have removed the bungs and will repeat the procedure... hopefully will get another few months...... I think if you simply drill the two holes and don’t bung them up then it would probably work just as well... bottom line is just order two glass drill bits instead of the kit.

Does what it says on the tin. Saved me the cost of replacing 4 double glazed windows. Two tips - the drill bit does work but take it steady drilling the holes. Brush the glass dust away just before you break through, otherwise it lands inside the window.

I saw the blurb for this kit and was sceptical about how it would work. Our glaziers said that it would not. I followed the directions and am pleased to say that the condensation has disappeared from our double glazing

Did not work. I just got fours inside my double glazing snd more damp between the panes

Wont work on safety glass, was not clear until I had bought kit. so did not use.

I have used it and the windows are now clear. I had a problem with the supplied drill being exactly the same size as the tube but this was replaced quickly and all is now well.If it stays as clear as it is now it will be money well spent.

It cleared the condensation but still misty after 8 days, probably will end up buying a New Unit. Apart from the drill bit there is nothing else worth having in the kit.
