What an amazing idea, awesome piece of mind!!
In-genius! So inexpensive, so easy. Enough security dots to cover valuables in our house, cars, both of our boys dorms, and we still have plenty left over. Our neighborhood, really nice area, but has been a target for thieves. In the last few months there have been many car break-ins, even bold enough to come through an open garage into the house steal car keys and take off. Last week our neighbors Audi was stolen, still not recovered! Everything from gym bags to laptops stolen out of cars (I know, who purposely leaves a laptop in their car, but you know, it happens). If any of our neighbors that were victims had the TheftMark MicroDot stuck on one of the charging cables in the car, on a key or on the car itself, the police would have caught these jerks! Luckily we have not had to use them yet, but in a way I'm hoping that we can somehow utilize this technology to catch the horrible people coming into our neighbors and making us all paranoid. I'll update this post if we need to use them in connection with the police and give results. More orders coming your way, I'm telling all of our neighbors and posting on the neighborhood watch forum!!

Microdots
I have not used it yet. I do like the concept and it's wonderful if it works.

Disappointing
Contains about a tablespoon of goo, which is great and should last a while. I stirred for about 30 seconds, stirring around the sides and up from the bottom expecting and up-welling of microdots. But, sadly, no. This $25 container appears to contain about 20 microsots, and 90% of those are glued to the side of the control and can't be scrubbed off using the tool. I managed to get 3 dots out of the 'thousands' that are supposed to be in the package. My advice? Save your money. Find a different product.

Amazing, Innovative Security Product!
The media could not be loaded. The idea behind this product is awesome. It's incredible how these tiny dots our attached to my identity in the case of anything being stolen. Of course you never anticipate anything being stolen, but this gives me peace of mind if it is. It's so common for items to be taken, found by police, but then never returned to the correct owner. This finally would prevent that from happening!I attached an image of what these dots look like in real life as they really are hardly noticeable. As soon as I opened this box, I put them on everything -- my computer, camera, camera gear, bike, tv, etc. Honestly, I wish my friends in college had these for their bikes too since bike theft was incredibly common at my college. The worst part was that it was nearly impossible to prove a bike was actually their bike to police once found.I recommend this to everyone!! The price is unbeatable for the amount of microdots you get & if you have valuable items (which most of us do), it's a must-have.

Who stole my microdots???
I've ordered and returned two of these. Both were practically devoid of the id microdots. The seller does not respond to queries. Is there a microdot shortage along with the microchip shortage? I gave it two stars b/c the UV reactive glue has some value on the tool I guess, but that is not why I purchased it.

Little dots that link to your name & email address in a data base
I would advise letting the container set for a while then pour off 70 % of the liquid into a small container so you will have a higher concentration of dots if you are trying to paint it onto a digital camera for example. The dots are visible if you have proper vision and settle to the bottom of the container. The binder/glue seems to be clear acrylic or pva with uv blue pigment. Its pretty cool, not sure how much help it's going to be in the long run but it's a nice peace of mind.

installation tip
It's not as elegant as I'd hoped, but I found a better way.I began with the supplied tools and put dabs by the factory VIN #'s, which is quite obvious. Especially if a thief is going to try to remove the vin, they will see that, and probably remove that too. However, IMO the best results will be to place tiny specs all over the place. The smaller the better, yet I could not get the dots in as small of a spot as I wanted, so I improvised.what I wanted was to place things like a brain surgeon, but what comes in the package is a mallet compared to a scalpel.so, for precision setups, use an actual brush, or your g/f's old eye liner thingy for the glue. Use this for small, detailed places of the glue in strategic places, that are not obvious. You could use a feather (if you know how to make a fountain pen) and this works great too, but you gotta have a feather, as it will ruin your fountain pens.First, learn to work with the glue, and its curing times vs how much you use. The smaller the better, but also might be more difficult for a pawn shop worker to spot, so there's a bit of a dilemma in either direction.while you're cleaning the areas, open the container, remove the safety seal, replace the lid, and set the container upside down, lid on the bottom. When you're ready to apply, flip the container right side up again, and all the glue should be in the container while 90% of the dots will be in the lid. This will help reduce excess glue (that happened to me) and you will use only what you need.with a feather, you could write arrows pointing to the dots, where-as with the supplied tools they would be too obvious.hope that helps.btw, this is an awesome idea and I'm hoping to never need them, but glad I got them.I used them on tools from work and the few things of value that I posses.
